Grant Activity definition

Grant Activity means the activity set out in Item 6 of Schedule 1.
Grant Activity means the voluntary cessation of ground water diversions for irrigation of the Participating Acreage pursuant to the terms of this Grant Agreement, and as more specifically set forth in Exhibit AStatement of Grant Activity and Verification Plan, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the objective of reducing groundwater diversions and achieving groundwater conservation.

Examples of Grant Activity in a sentence

  • If any of the Grant amount has been spent other than in accordance with this Agreement or on expiration or termination of this Agreement is additional to the requirements of the Grant Activity, the Grantee agrees to repay that amount to the Commonwealth, unless the Commonwealth agrees in writing otherwise.

  • The Grantee must ensure that all persons engaged to work on the Grant Activity obtain and maintain all relevant licences, registrations or other approvals required by applicable laws or as directed by the Commonwealth, including but not limited to police checks, Working With Children checks and Working with Vulnerable People checks.

  • When dealing with Personal Information (as defined in the Privacy Act 1988) in carrying out the Grant Activity, the Grantee agrees not to do anything which, if done by the Commonwealth, would be a breach of the Privacy Act 1988.

  • The Grantee agrees to spend the Grant for the sole purpose of undertaking the Grant Activity, and to provide a statement, in the form required by the Commonwealth and signed by the Grantee, verifying that the Grant Activity has been undertaken and the Grant was spent in accordance with this Agreement.

  • The Grantee agrees to promptly notify the Commonwealth of anything reasonably likely to affect the performance of the Grant Activity, including any actual, perceived or potential conflict of interest which could affect the Grantee’s performance of this Agreement and to take action to resolve the conflict.

  • The Grantee agrees to use the Grant and undertake the Grant Activity in accordance with this Agreement.

  • The Grantee agrees to maintain records of the performance of the Grant Activity and the expenditure of the Grant for two years after completing the Grant Activity and to make them available to the Commonwealth on request.

Related to Grant Activity

  • relevant activity means the use by a farmer of the product of his harvest for propagation or multiplication by him on his own holding, where the product of the harvest constitutes or contains protected material;

  • Detrimental Activity means, unless otherwise determined by the Committee, in the applicable Award Agreement: (a) the disclosure to anyone outside the Company or its Affiliates, or the use in any manner other than in the furtherance of the Company’s or its Affiliate’s business, without written authorization from the Company, of any confidential information, trade secrets or proprietary information, relating to the business of the Company or its Affiliates that is acquired by a Participant prior to the Participant’s Termination; (b) activity while employed or performing services that results, or if known could result, in the Participant’s Termination that is classified by the Company as a termination for Cause; (c) any attempt, directly or indirectly, to solicit, induce or hire (or the identification for solicitation, inducement or hiring of) any employee of the Company or its Affiliates to be employed by, or to perform services for, the Participant or any person or entity with which the Participant is associated (including, but not limited to, due to the Participant’s employment by, consultancy for, equity interest in, or creditor relationship with such person or entity) or any person or entity from which the Participant receives direct or indirect compensation or fees as a result of such solicitation, inducement or hire (or the identification for solicitation, inducement or hire) without, in all cases, written authorization from the Company; (d) any attempt, directly or indirectly, to solicit in a competitive manner any customer or prospective customer of the Company or its Affiliates at the time of a Participant’s Termination, without, in all cases, written authorization from the Company; (e) the Participant’s Disparagement, or inducement of others to do so, of the Company or its Affiliates or their past and present officers, directors, employees or products; or (f) breach of any agreement between the Participant and the Company or an Affiliate (including, without limitation, any employment agreement or noncompetition or nonsolicitation agreement). For purposes of sub-sections (a), (c), and (d) above, the General Counsel, Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President of Human Resources or the Chief Executive Officer of the Company shall have authority to provide the Participant, except for himself or herself, with written authorization to engage in the activities contemplated thereby and no other person shall have authority to provide the Participant with such authorization.

  • Development Activities means those Development activities undertaken by or on behalf of a Party or its Affiliates with respect to the Product in the Field.
