Grievance Fund definition

Grievance Fund shall be defined as the monies provided to process and redress salary grievances as provided herein. 2 Of this amount, $50,500 shall be used to fund promotions. 3 $3,800 shall be distributed in the form of a $200 overall salary increase to each unit member who achieved an overall annual performance appraisal rating of Exceptional from the 2021 review period.

In addition, $92,231 shall be distributed in the form of an overall salary increase of 2.5% to certain unit members as designated by the Kansas Legislature. The remaining amount, $91,483 will be distributed in the form of an overall salary increase of 1.5% beginning January 2018 to unit members who do not receive the 2.5% increase.
