Health and Welfare Benefit Plan definition

Health and Welfare Benefit Plan means an arrangement which provides any of the
Health and Welfare Benefit Plan means (a) any health and dental plan, disability plan, accidental death and dismemberment plan, survivor income plan, and life insurance plan or arrangement made available by the Employer for its executives, and (b) any such additional or substitute plan or arrangement that the Employer may make available in the future and during the term of the Plan for its executives, in each case that is a "welfare plan" (as such term is defined in ERISA Section 3(1)).
Health and Welfare Benefit Plan means (a) any health and dental plan, disability plan, accidental death and dismemberment plan, survivor income plan, and life insurance plan or arrangement made available by the Employer for its executives, and (b) any such additional or substitute plan or arrangement that the Employer may make available in the future and during the term of the Plan for its executives, in each case that is a “welfare plan” (as such term is defined in ERISA Section 3(1)).

More Definitions of Health and Welfare Benefit Plan

Health and Welfare Benefit Plan shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.7(d)(i).
Health and Welfare Benefit Plan means any health and dental plan, disability plan, accidental death and dismemberment plan, survivor income plan, and life insurance plan or arrangement made available by the Employer, from time to time, for its executives, in each case that is a “welfare plan” (as such term is defined in ERISA Section 3(1)).

Related to Health and Welfare Benefit Plan

  • Health and Welfare Benefits means any form of insurance or similar benefit programs, which may include but not be limited to, medical, hospitalization, surgical, prescription drug, dental, optical, psychiatric, life, or long-term disability.

  • Welfare Benefit Plan means each welfare benefit plan maintained or contributed to by the Company, including, but not limited to a plan that provides health (including medical and dental), life, accident or disability benefits or insurance, or similar coverage, in which Executive was participating at the time of the Change in Control.

  • Health and Welfare Plans means any Benefit Plan that was established or is maintained for the purpose of providing for its participants or their beneficiaries, through the purchase of insurance or otherwise, medical (including preferred provider organization, exclusive provider organization, and high deductible health plan coverages), dental, prescription, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life and accidental death and dismemberment, employee assistance, group legal services, wellness, cafeteria (including premium payment, health flexible spending account, and dependent care flexible spending account components), travel reimbursement, transportation, or other benefits in the event of sickness, accident, disability, death, or unemployment, vacation benefits, apprenticeship or other training programs, day care centers, scholarship funds, or prepaid legal services, including any such plan, fund, or program as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA.

  • Employee Welfare Benefit Plan has the meaning set forth in ERISA Sec. 3(1).

  • Health benefit plan means a policy, contract, certificate or agreement offered or issued by a health carrier to provide, deliver, arrange for, pay for or reimburse any of the costs of health care services.

  • Welfare Plan means a “welfare plan”, as such term is defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA.

  • Retiree Welfare Plan means, at any time, a Welfare Plan that provides for continuing coverage or benefits for any participant or any beneficiary of a participant after such participant's termination of employment, other than continuation coverage provided pursuant to Section 4980B of the IRC and at the sole expense of the participant or the beneficiary of the participant.

  • Benefit Plan means any of (a) an “employee benefit plan” (as defined in ERISA) that is subject to Title I of ERISA, (b) a “plan” as defined in Section 4975 of the Code or (c) any Person whose assets include (for purposes of ERISA Section 3(42) or otherwise for purposes of Title I of ERISA or Section 4975 of the Code) the assets of any such “employee benefit plan” or “plan”.

  • Group health benefit plan means any health care plan, subscription contract, evidence of

  • Pension Benefit Plan means at any time any employee pension benefit plan (including a Multiple Employer Plan, but not a Multiemployer Plan) which is covered by Title IV of ERISA or is subject to the minimum funding standards under Section 412 of the Code and either (i) is maintained by any member of the Controlled Group for employees of any member of the Controlled Group; or (ii) has at any time within the preceding five years been maintained by any entity which was at such time a member of the Controlled Group for employees of any entity which was at such time a member of the Controlled Group.

  • Company Benefit Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 3.16(a).

  • Welfare Plans shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.4.

  • Foreign Employee Benefit Plan means any employee benefit plan as defined in Section 3(3) of ERISA which is maintained or contributed to for the benefit of the employees of the Company, any of its respective Subsidiaries or any members of its Controlled Group and is not covered by ERISA pursuant to ERISA Section 4(b)(4).

  • Company Employee Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 3.12(a).

  • Foreign Benefit Plan means any Employee Benefit Plan established, maintained or contributed to outside of the United States of America or which covers any employee working or residing outside of the United States.

  • Non-U.S. Benefit Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.20(a).
