IHM definition

IHM means, in relation to a Collateral Vessel, an “Inventory of Hazardous Materials” prepared in accordance with IMO Resolution MEPC.269(68), “2015 Guidelines for the Development of the Inventory of Hazardous Materials”, issued by that Collateral Vessel’s classification society, which includes a list of required materials known to be potentially hazardous and listed in the construction of or on board that Collateral Vessel, their location and approximate quantities.
IHM means the Inventory of Hazardous Materials describing the materials present in a ship’s structure and equipment that may be hazardous to human health or the environment along w ith their respective location and approximate quantities as required by Article 5 (Inventory of hazardous materials) of the EU Ship Recycling Regulation.
