Investment Advisory definition

Investment Advisory means the service provided by the Platform to the Client as defined in Article V - INVESTMENT ADVISORY;
Investment Advisory means a person, facility or agency that provides assessments or recommendations to third parties regarding the advisability of making certain investments or transactions in financial instruments or investment projects.
Investment Advisory means the provision of individualised advisory aimed directly or indirectly at the purchase, sale, subscription, placement, settlement, safekeeping or other action related to a specific investment instrument or instruments or at exercising the rights of such disposal. The Bank shall be entitled to provide the investment service of investment advisory to its Clients upon fulfilling statutory conditions, based on its own discretion, or based on a special Investment Advisory Agreement that sets out special terms and conditions and rules for the provision of such services (for details see Article 27 hereof).

Examples of Investment Advisory in a sentence

  • Client acknowledges and agrees that the Platform Manager or Investment Manager(s) may instruct the Custodian to liquidate certain investments in the Account(s), if the value of any unencumbered cash in the Account(s) is insufficient to cover any unpaid Investment Advisory Fees or Additional Fees.

  • This Agreement will automatically terminate, with respect to a Fund listed in Appendix A, if the Investment Advisory Agreement for the Fund is terminated, with such termination effective upon the effective date of the Investment Advisory Agreement’s termination for the Fund.

  • Investment Advisory Fees generally include the security transaction fees, Platform fees and Investment Manager(s) fees for the Account(s).

  • The Investment Advisory Fees in the first quarter of this Agreement shall be prorated from the inception date to the end of the first quarter.

  • Investment Advisory Fees are calculated based on quarter-end security valuations, as provided by Client’s designated Custodian (as noted in Item 4 and detailed on Schedule B).

  • The Client acknowledges that it is Client’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of the calculation of the Investment Advisory Fees and Additional Fees, if applicable, and that the Custodian will not determine whether these fees are accurate or properly calculated.

  • Investment Advisory Fees and any Additional Fees will be calculated by the Platform Manager and automatically deducted from Client Account(s) by the Custodian for credit to the Advisor or such other party, as applicable.

  • Investment Advisor means, in relation to a Portfolio, the investment manager or investment advisor of the Portfolio.

  • Investment Adviser or "Adviser" means a party furnishing services to the Trust pursuant to any contract described in Article IV, Section 7(a) hereof;

  • investment advice means the provision of personal recommendations to a client, either upon its request or at the initiative of the investment firm, in respect of one or more transactions relating to financial instruments;

  • Investment Manager or “Manager” shall mean a party furnishing services to the Trust pursuant to any contract described in Section 4.8 hereof;

  • Investment means, as to any Person, any direct or indirect acquisition or investment by such Person, whether by means of (a) the purchase or other acquisition of capital stock or other securities of another Person, (b) a loan, advance or capital contribution to, Guarantee or assumption of debt of, or purchase or other acquisition of any other debt or equity participation or interest in, another Person, including any partnership or joint venture interest in such other Person and any arrangement pursuant to which the investor Guarantees Indebtedness of such other Person, or (c) the purchase or other acquisition (in one transaction or a series of transactions) of assets of another Person that constitute a business unit. For purposes of covenant compliance, the amount of any Investment shall be the amount actually invested, without adjustment for subsequent increases or decreases in the value of such Investment.

  • Independent Adviser means an independent financial institution of international repute or other independent financial adviser experienced in the international debt capital markets, in each case appointed by the Issuer at its own expense;

  • Financial Adviser means any:
