Land uses definition

Land uses means specific uses or management-related activities, rather than the vegetation or cover of the land. Land uses may be identified in combination when joint or seasonal uses occur.
Land uses means the purpose for which land is or may be used lawfully in terms of the land use scheme or in terms of any other authorisation, permit or consent issued by a competent authority, and includes any conditions related to such land use purposes.
Land uses means single-family residential; multi-family residential; apartment residential; irrigated agriculture by crop type; dryland agriculture by crop type; wetlands; vernal pools; forest; parks; golf courses; lakes; rivers and streams; reservoirs; groundwater; commercial; or industrial uses within the area impacted or targeted by the project.
