Lead Construction Contractor definition

Lead Construction Contractor means the entity primarily responsible for the construction elements of the Project that will act as a prime subcontractor to a Development Entity, provided that if the Lead Construction Contractor is a consortium, partnership or other form of joint venture, each member of the Lead Construction Contractor that is performing construction activities shall be a prequalified contractor no later than the date that Proposals are due. If a member of such consortium, partnership or other form of joint venture is performing non-construction activities such as design or engineering, there is no prequalification requirement.
Lead Construction Contractor means the entity with primary responsibility for work related to design and construction, and other technical development work with respect to the PDA Work, including design management.

Lead Construction Contractor means the entity (whether a single incorporated entity or an incorporated or unincorporated joint venture) with primary responsibility for the performance of construction work for the Project.

  • Construction Contractor means a person who undertakes to or offers to undertake to, or purports to have the capacity to undertake to, or submits a bid to, or does himself or by or through others, construct, alter, repair, add to, subtract from, improve, move, wreck, or demolish any building, highway, road, railroad, excavation, or other structure, project, development, or improvement to real property, or to do any part thereof.
