Lead Engineer definition

Lead Engineer means the entity (whether a single incorporated entity or an incorporated or unincorporated joint venture) with primary responsibility for preparation of the detailed plans and specifications for construction of the Project.
Lead Engineer means the entity primarily responsible for the creation of the design & engineering solution for the Project (e.g. the Lead Contractor’s design and engineering consultants), provided that if the relevant entity is a consortium, partnership or any other form of a joint venture, each member of the relevant consortium, partnership or other form of joint venture shall be a Lead Engineer.
Lead Engineer means a Principal Participant, Specialty Subcontractor, or in-house designer that leads the team furnishing or performing the civil/site design of the Project.

Lead Engineer means a Specialty Subcontractor, or in-house designer that leads the team furnishing or performing the Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Fire Protection, or Civil/site design of the Project.
Lead Engineer means the single entity or Joint Venture that will be primarily responsible for engineering and design of the Project. If this role will be performed by a Joint Venture, then all members or partners of that Joint Venture will be considered to be the Lead Engineer and, consequently, each of them will be considered to be Core Proposer Team Members.

  • Professional Engineer means a person entitled to practise as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario under a licence issued under the Professional Engineers Act;

  • County Engineer means the holder of the statutory office of County Engineer for Harris County or the employee designated by the County Engineer to perform a task required by these Regulations.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer means a person acceptable to Buyer in its reasonable judgment who (a) is licensed to practice engineering in California, (b) has training and experience in the power industry specific to the technology of the Project, (c) has no economic relationship, association, or nexus with Seller or Buyer, other than to meet the obligations of Seller pursuant to this Agreement, (d) is not a representative of a consultant, engineer, contractor, designer or other individual involved in the development of the Project or of a manufacturer or supplier of any equipment installed at the Project, and (e) is licensed in an appropriate engineering discipline for the required certification being made.
