Literary Material definition

Literary Material means written matter, whether published or unpublished, in any form, including a novel, book, article, treatment, outline, poem, screenplay, teleplay, story, manuscript, letter, play or otherwise, which may be included in or upon which a Motion Picture may be based.

Literary Material means written material other than Source Material, whether published or unpublished, in any form, including a theatrical motion picture treatment, outline, screenplay, teleplay, story, manuscript, play or otherwise, upon which a Motion Picture may be based (including any and all drafts thereof), which has been acquired by MVL either (i) with the proceeds of the Initial Funding (and on the same financial terms as the Literary Material Option) with respect to such Motion Picture or (ii) through the exercise of the Literary Material Option, and which, in each case, may be used solely in connection with the production of a Motion Picture.

More Definitions of Literary Material

Literary Material shall have the meaning set forth in the Master Agreement, except that for the purposes of this Agreement, Literary Material shall only pertain to the Main Characters or Subsidiary Characters as defined herein.

Related to Literary Material

  • Proprietary Materials means tangible chemical, biological or physical materials that are furnished by or on behalf of one Party to the other Party in connection with this Agreement, whether or not specifically designated as proprietary by the transferring Party.
