The Union shall provide the Employer with a list of the Nurses designated as representatives of the Union which will include members of the Nova Scotia Nurses’ Union Board of Directors or Standing Committees (if applicable), the members of the Local Executive, and shop stewards.
The Hospital will issue to the Local Executive the annual schedule of planned orientation sessions.
The Hospital will endeavour to provide this information to the Local Executive in advance.
When it has been medically determined that an employee is unable to return to the full duties of her/his position due to a disability, the Health Centre will notify and meet with a member of the Local Executive and a member of CUPE staff (unless such attendance causes an unreasonable delay) to discuss the circumstances surrounding that employee’s return to suitable work.
Notices and/or documents shall be dated and signed by a member of the Union Local Executive and shall be restricted to the appropriate Union notice board which shall be provided by the Union and shall be in keeping with general furnishings.
