Local Marks definition

Local Marks means the trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, slogans and commercial symbols developed or acquired from time to time by Master Licensee (whether any such Local Marks are registered or not), as approved by Company pursuant to Paragraph 7.7, for use in the Territory to identify Units and the services and products offered, sold or used therein.
Local Marks has the meaning set forth in Section 7.8.1 (Brand Name in the Territory).
Local Marks meansanyverbal, visual and/or graphic signs, registered or not,including or referring to any of the Global Marks.

Examples of Local Marks in a sentence

  • Licensee grants to Licensor and other licensees and franchisees of Travelodge Units a perpetual, non-exclusive and world-wide royalty-free license to use all approved Local Marks in connection with the operation of Travelodge Units.

  • In general, they do not limit the number of participants, nor restrict participation or demand prerequisites.

  • Master Licensee may develop or acquire one or more Local Marks, to be used in connection with the franchising and operation of Units in the Territory.

  • Idearc agrees not to use any trademark, service mxxx, domain name or trade name identical with or confusingly similar to the Local Marks, except as permitted by this Agreement.

  • When the resolution of the disputes related to Local Marks may have an impact on any of the Global Marks, GS1 AISBL may decide to join the MO and become a party to any proceedings involving the Local Marks.

  • Where appropriate, the MO is entitled to seek reimbursement from GS1 AISBL of any reasonable legal costs borne by the MO for the defence of the Local Marks and/or the Domain Names, subject to the policy for refunding legal expenses agreed by the General Assembly and documented in the GS1 Operational Manual.

  • Licensee may develop or acquire one or more "Local Marks," ----------- as defined in the Master Agreement, to be used in connection with the franchising and operation of Travelodge Units in the Territory.


More Definitions of Local Marks

Local Marks means those certain trademarks, logos, service marks and trade names depicted in Exhibit D, and such other trademarks, logos, service marks and trade names as Local may provide to Idearc from time to time during the Term of this Agreement for its use in the promotion and marketing of the PFP Service contemplated herein.

Related to Local Marks

  • Product Marks has the meaning set forth in Section 9.5.

  • Licensed Marks means those MLS GRID and MLS trademarks, service marks, word marks, logos and distinctive marks of all other kinds, if any, set out in Exhibit A as Licensed Marks.

  • Marks has the meaning set forth in the definition of Intellectual Property Rights.

  • Trade Marks mean registered Trade Marks and Trade Xxxx applications and include any sign or logo, or combination of signs and/or logos capable of distinguishing the goods or services of one undertaking from those of another undertaking;

Nothing contained in this Agreement shall in any way grant Publisher the right to use the trademark "Sony" in any manner. SCEA may amend such Licensed Trademarks from time to time in the SourceBook 2 or other Guidelines or upon written notice to Publisher.

  • Product Trademarks means the Trademark(s) to be used by Adapt or its Affiliates or its or their respective Sublicensees for the Commercialization of Products and any registrations thereof or any pending applications relating thereto (excluding, in any event, any trademarks, service marks, names or logos that include any corporate name or logo of the Parties or their Affiliates).

  • Service mark means a word, name, symbol, or device or any combination of a word, name, symbol, or device, used by a person to identify services and to distinguish the services of that person, including a unique service, from the services of others, and to indicate the source of the services, even if that source is unknown. Titles, character names used by a person, and other distinctive features of radio or television programs may be registered as service marks notwithstanding that they, or the programs, may advertise the goods of a sponsor.

  • Domain Names means all Internet domain names and associated URL addresses in or to which any Grantor now or hereafter has any right, title or interest.

  • Trademarks means any trademarks, service marks, trade dress, trade names, brand names, internet domain names, designs, logos, or corporate names (including, in each case, the goodwill associated therewith), whether registered or unregistered, and all registrations and applications for registration and renewal thereof.

  • Proprietary Marks shall have the meaning as set forth in Section 24.01.

  • Licensed Trademark means those Trademarks set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto and such other Trademarks as may be designated by NovaDel in writing from time to time, and any registrations of the foregoing and pending applications relating thereto.

  • Trademark means any trademark, trade name, service xxxx, service name, brand, domain name, trade dress, logo, slogan or other indicia of origin or ownership, including the goodwill and activities associated with each of the foregoing.

  • Company Marks means the trademarks, trade names, service marks, logos, and/or service names of the Company.

  • Product Trademark means one or more trademarks or logos that are used for the Commercialization of a Product in the Field in the Territory.

  • Seller Marks has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4.

  • Domain Name means the domain name(s) (universal resource locators), and registration(s) thereof, issued by any Person or authority that issues and maintains the domain name registration; provided, however, “Domain Name” shall not include any trademark or service mark rights to such domain names other than the rights to the Product Trademarks required to be divested.

  • Transferred Trademarks means the Trademarks, and applications for Trademarks, included in the Transferred Registered Intellectual Property.

  • Internet Domain Names means all rights, title and interests (and all related IP Ancillary Rights) arising under any Requirement of Law in or relating to Internet domain names.

  • Local content means that portion of the bidding price which is not included in the imported content provided that local manufacture does take place.

  • Proprietary mark or “brand” means the mark or brand of a product which is owned by an industrial firm;

  • Logo means the SAP Partner logo as detailed in the SAP Partner Logo Usage Guidelines.

  • trade mark means a mark capable of being represented graphically and which is capable of distinguishing the goods or services of one person from those of others and may include shape of goods, their packaging and combination of colours; and—

  • Retained Names and Marks has the meaning specified in Section 5.07.

  • counterfeit trademark goods means any goods, including packaging, bearing without authorization a trademark which is identical to the trademark validly registered in respect of such goods, or which cannot be distinguished in its essential aspects from such a trademark, and which thereby infringes the rights of the owner of the trademark in question under the law of the country of importation;

  • Trade Names means any words, name or symbol used by a Person to identify its business.
