Load and leave means delivery to a purchaser by use of a tangible storage media if the tangible storage media is not physically transferred to the purchaser.
Garden Leave means any period during which the Company has exercised its rights under clause 22;
Paid leave means time away from work by an employee for which the employee receives compensation. Paid leave is limited to sick time, vacation time, compensatory time, and leave that is provided as an aggregate amount for use at the discretion of the employee for any of these purposes. Paid leave does not include paid short-term or long-term disability, catastrophic leave, or similar types of benefits.
FMLA Leave means a leave of absence, which the Company is required to extend to an Employee under the provisions of the FMLA.
Bad Leaver means, unless otherwise specified herein, (i) the Owner's ceasing to be a member of the executive management or an employee of the Company or a subsidiary due to the Owner being dismissed because of the Owner's breach of the employment relationship or (ii) the Owner's ceasing to be an employee of the Company or a subsidiary due to being dismissed during the probationary period applicable to the Owner or not being offered continuous employment after the expiry of the probationary period applicable to the Owner. The Owner’s employment shall in case of dismissal be deemed ceased at the time the notice of termination served by the Company or a subsidiary to the Owner expires.
paternity leave means a period of absence from work on leave by virtue of section 80A or 80B of the Employment Rights Act 1996;
Litter means any object or matter which is discarded by a person in any place except in an approved receptacle provided for that purpose or at a waste handling facility or waste disposal facility;
maternity leave means a period during which a woman is absent from work because she is pregnant or has given birth to a child, and at the end of which she has a right to return to work either under the terms of her contract of employment or under Part 8 of the Employment Rights Act 1996;

Continuous shiftworker means a shiftworker on continuous work.

Family leave means a leave of absence from employment for one (1) of the following reasons:
(1) The serious illness of an eligible employee; or
(2) the serious illness of a member of an eligible employee’s immediate family. Family Leave, by itself or in combination with statutory Parental Leave (as opposed to contractual parental leave), may not exceed twelve (12) weeks in a twelve (12) month period beginning with the first day either type of leave is used. Leave taken under this Agreement will be credited against any such statutory entitlement to the full extent permitted by law.
Junk means old or scrap copper, brass, rope, rags, batteries, paper, trash, rubber debris, waste, or junked, dismantled or wrecked automobiles, or parts of automobiles, iron, steel and other old or scrap ferrous or nonferrous material.
Good Leaver means, unless otherwise specified herein, the Owner’s ceasing to be a member of the executive management or an employee of the Company or a subsidiary for any reason other than due to (i) death, (ii) being a Voluntary Leaver, or (iii) being a Bad Leaver. The Owner’s employment shall be deemed ceased at the time the notice of termination served by the Owner to the Company or a subsidiary expires.
Personal Leave means leave provided for:
Intermittent Leave means leave taken in separate blocks of time due to a single qualifying reason.
Current Sick Leave means those days of sick leave for the current contract year, which leave is granted at the rate of one day of sick leave per month worked, or major part thereof.
Water Line The water line is the single lateral water service line from the point of the water utility’s connection to the point of the water meter or main shut off line inside the home. The water line also includes well water lines, excluding those exceeding five feet under the surface level of the yard.
Farmworker Household means a household of one or more persons wherein at least one member of the household is a Farmworker at the time of initial occupancy.
Workplace Harassment means engaging in a course of vexatious comment or conduct against a worker in a workplace that is known or ought reasonably to be known to be unwelcome”. Ref: Occupational Health and Safety Act, Sec. 1

Fire Protection means all aspects of fire safety including but not limited to fire prevention, firefighting or Fire Suppression, pre-fire planning, fire investigation, public education and information, training or other staff development;
