Main Extension Agreement definition

Main Extension Agreement means any agreement whereby an applicant agrees to advance the costs of the installation of water facilities to the Company to serve new service connections, or install water facilities to serve new service connections and transfer ownership of such water facilities to the Company, which agreement shall require the approval of the Commission's Utilities Division (same as line extension agreement).

Main Extension Agreement means any agreement whereby an Applicant, Developer and/or Builder agrees to advance the costs of the installation of water facilities, which may include Common Facilities, to the Company to serve new service connections, or install water facilities to serve new service connections and transfer ownership of such water facilities to the Company, in either case which agreement shall require the approval of the Commission pursuant to A.A.C. R-14-2-406, and shall have the same meaning as “Water Facilities Agreement” or “Line Extension Agreement.”

Main Extension Agreement means any agreement whereby an Applicant agrees to advance the costs of the installation of water facilities necessary to the Company to serve new service connections within a development, or installs such water facilities necessary to serve new service connections and transfer ownership of such water facilities to the Company, which agreement shall require the approval of the Commission pursuant to A.A.C. R-14-2-406, and shall have the same meaning as "Water Facilities Agreement" or "Line Extension Agreement."

Examples of Main Extension Agreement in a sentence

• Vacant lots in new subdivisions which are to receive water service for an existing main appropriate to the service requested will not be included in this Main Extension Agreement.

• However, where the Company decides to install a pipe larger than necessary to render extension of adequate service to the applicant, estimated or actual cost figures in the Sewer Main Extension Agreement or Sewer Main Extension Deposit Agreement shall include only the material and installation cost for a pipe the size of which is necessary to provide adequate service to the applicant.

• All estimated or actual cost figures referred to in the Sewer Main Extension Agreement or Sewer Main Extension Deposit Agreement shall include a reasonable allowance for overhead costs and taxes as appropriate.

• Extensions require that a "Main Extension Agreement" be entered into between the Company and those participants making contributions and eligible for refunds.

• Services installed as part of a new Water District extension or formation or a Developers Main Extension shall be installed under the Main Extension Agreement with the Town or the Developer.
