Major Item definition

Major Item. - means any individually bid Tender item that has an actual value, calculated on the basis of its actual or estimated tender unit price, equal to or greater than 5 percent of the total tender value, calculated on the basis of the total of all the estimated tender quantities and the tender unit prices.
Major Item means any individually bid item that has an actual cost, calculated on the basis of its actual or estimated tender quantity, whichever is the larger, and the unit price bid, equal to or greater than 5% of the total tender cost, calculated on the basis of the total of all the estimated quantities and the unit prices bid.
Major Item. Major Item" shall be construed to be any individual bid item incurred in the bid that has a total cost equal to or greater than five percent (5%) of the total contract cost, computed based on the bid quantities and the contract unit price.
