Matching Service definition

Matching Service has the meaning and the conditions to sale ascribed to it in Internal Revenue Service Notice 88-75. For purposes of the above limitations, the percentage of Units transferred during a taxable year shall equal the sum of the monthly percentage of Units transferred. The monthly percentage of Units transferred in any month shall be the percentage equal to a fraction the numerator of which is the number of Units transferred during such month and the denominator of which is the number of Units outstanding on the last day of such month, provided that the denominator shall not include Units owned by the General Partner or any Person related to the General Partner (within the meaning of Section 267(b) or 707(b)(1) of the Code);
Matching Service means an institution which provides for the matching of Trading Platform Transactions which are concluded bilaterally between a seller and a buyer;
Matching Service means the service provided by Thorn which compares Hashes submitted by Company against Hash sets of known or suspected CSAM, and returns Results.

Examples of Matching Service in a sentence

  • The PGY2 residency program must pay a fee to the National Matching Service (NMS) for each position committed to a resident via the Early Commitment Process.

  • It is a violation of this Agreement if any applicant or program shares any Match information from or maintained in the R3 system, including but not limited to, information from the List of Unfilled Programs, with any individual who is not registered for the Specialties Matching Service or allows an individual who is not registered for the Specialties Matching Service to use the registrant’s unique username and password to access the R3 system to obtain match information.

  • Description: This 0.5-mile project in West Palm Beach began on September 18, 2023.

  • Such programs also must register individually with the NRMP and agree to abide by the terms of the Match Participation Agreement Among Applicants, the NRMP, and Participating Programs or the Specialties Matching Service Match Participation Agreement Among Applicants, the NRMP, and Participating Programs.

Related to Matching Service

  • Matching Period has the meaning specified in Section 5.4(1)(e).

  • Vesting Service of an employee means the period or periods of service credited to him under the provisions of Article II for purposes of determining his vested interest in his Employer Contributions Sub-Account, if Employer Contributions are provided for under either Article VI or Article XXII.

  • Matching Account means the account maintained on the books of the Employer for the purpose of accounting for the Matching Amount and for the amount of investment return credited thereto for each Participant pursuant to Article V.

  • Matching Contribution means Employer contributions made to this Plan or any other defined contribution plan by reason of Thrift Contributions or Elective Deferrals under this Plan.

  • Company Matching Account means (i) the sum of all of a Participant's Annual Company Matching Amounts, plus (ii) amounts credited in accordance with all the applicable crediting provisions of this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account, less (iii) all distributions made to the Participant or his or her Beneficiary pursuant to this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account.

  • Period of Service means the aggregate of all periods of service commencing with an Employee's first day of employment or reemployment with the Employer or an Affiliated Employer and ending on the first day of a Period of Severance, or for benefit accrual purposes, ending on the severance from service date. The first day of employment or reemployment is the first day the Employee performs an Hour of Service. An Employee who incurs a Period of Severance of twelve (12) months or less will also receive service-spanning credit by treating any such period as a Period of Service for purposes of eligibility and vesting (but not benefit accrual). For purposes of benefit accrual, a Participant's whole year Periods of Service is equal to the sum of all full and partial periods of service, whether or not such service is continuous or contiguous, expressed in the number of whole years represented by such sum. For this purpose, fractional periods of a year will be expressed in terms of days.

  • Matching Contributions are contributions made by the Employer on account of elective deferrals under a Code Section 401(k) arrangement or on account of employee contributions. Matching contributions also include Participant forfeitures allocated on account of such elective deferrals or employee contributions.

  • Qualified Matching Contribution means any employer contribution allocated to an Eligible Employee’s account under any plan of an Employer or a Related Company solely on account of “elective contributions” made on his behalf or “employee contributions” made by him that is a qualified matching contribution as defined in regulations issued under Code Section 401(k), is nonforfeitable when made, and is distributable only as permitted in regulations issued under Code Section 401(k).

  • Testing service means a national testing service selected by the board.

  • Matching Contribution Account means the separate, individual account established on behalf of a Participant to which the Matching Contributions made on such Participant's behalf are credited, together with all earnings and appreciation thereon, and against which are charged any withdrawals, loans and other distributions made from such account and any losses, depreciation or expenses allocable to amounts credited to such account.

  • Year of Service means the computation period of twelve (12) consecutive months, herein set forth, during which an Employee has at least 1000 Hours of Service.

  • Eligibility Service of an employee means the period or periods of service credited to him under the provisions of Article II for purposes of determining his eligibility to participate in the Plan as may be required under Article III or Article VI.

  • Employer Matching Contributions means the Employer matching contributions made to the Trust Fund pursuant to Article V (Employer Matching Contributions).

  • Matching Funds means the amount and nature of the moneys or resources to be used by the Local Political Subdivision or Nonprofit Organization for the Project. Such funds shall constitute not less than twenty-five percent (25%) of the total Cost of Project set forth in Appendix D and may consist of money by any person, any Local Political Subdivision, the State of Ohio, or the federal government or of contributions in-kind by such parties through purchase or donation of equipment, land, easements, labor, or materials necessary to complete the Project.

  • Hours of Service means hours to be credited to an Employee under the following rules:

  • Qualified Matching Contributions means Matching Contributions which are immediately nonforfeitable when made, and which would be nonforfeitable, regardless of the age or service of the Employee or whether the Employee is employed on a certain date, and which may not be distributed, except upon one of the events described under Section 401(k)(2)(B) of the Code and the regulations thereunder.

  • Company Matching Contributions means the Company contributions described in Section 3.4.

  • Credited Service means the member's total period of service

  • Years of Service means the total number of full years in which a Participant has been employed by one or more Employers. For purposes of this definition, a year of employment shall be a 365 day period (or 366 day period in the case of a leap year) that, for the first year of employment, commences on the Employee's date of hiring and that, for any subsequent year, commences on an anniversary of that hiring date. Any partial year of employment shall not be counted.

  • Plan Year means the calendar year.

  • CMU Service means the Central Moneymarkets Unit Service, operated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority;

  • Employer Contribution means the amount paid by an employer, as determined by the employer rate, including the normal and deficiency rates, contributions, and funds wherever used in this chapter.

  • Qualifying Service means one year or more of continuous service and residence away from the home country and the country of nationality of a staff member, or the country where the staff member has acquired permanent resident status.

  • Hour of Service means:

  • Employer Contribution Account means, for any Participant, the account established by the Administrator or Trustee to which Employer Contributions made under Section 3.5 for the Participant's benefit are credited.

  • Level of service has the meaning set forth in Section 2.02(c).
