Medical Charges definition

Medical Charges means the necessary, reasonable and customary charges incurred by the Insured for the medical treatment of the Illness or Bodily Injury and includes the costs of the stay in the Hospital, surgical treatment, treatment and care by medical staff, Medical Practitioner ’s fees, medicines and consumables including cost of pacemaker, artificial limbs, etc. or any expenses incurred on account of treatment by the Medical Practitioner.
Medical Charges mean reasonable charges unavoidably incurred by the Insured Person for the medical treatment of disease, illness or injury the subject matter of the claim as an In-patient in a Hospital/ Nursing Home, and includes the costs as defined under Hospitalisation Expenses and Pre & Post Hospitalisation Expenses.
Medical Charges means expenses incurred for radioactive isotope therapy and for any other radiotherapy which does not qualify as a surgical procedure, including those other covered expenses which are not hospital charges, or surgical charges as defined above.

Examples of Medical Charges in a sentence

  • In addition to the Booking Fee, Maintenance Charge, and any other charges agreed to per Section 4.3, the City will be charged for Offsite Medical Charges and Surcharges as detailed in Exhibit III, Section 3 and 4.

  • Rental Charges means the charges payable for renting the Vehicle from Us together with GST and any other taxes or levies which are all fully set out in the Rental Agreement.
