Medically Stable means when an acute care MSN Patient is able to reasonably sustain 30 a transport in an Emergency Medical Technician I (EMT I) staffed ambulance, with no expected increase 31 in morbidity or mortality, as determined by the treating physician.
Medically Stable means the member’s skilled-care medical needs are routine and not subject to frequent change because of health issues.

Medically Stable means physical or mental adaptation to previously recognized health problems with effective maintenance by diet, medication, or routine physical exercise, or a combination of these remedies.
Medically Stable means good physical health, with no acute or chronic health problems for which medical treatment beyond routine medical care is required or anticipated. Children with a chronic, but stable illness, managed with medication and routine monitoring, such as diabetes or a well controlled seizure disorder, may be considered medically stable.
