Member Services definition
Member Services are hereby defined as any products or services now or hereafter provided or sponsored by the Credit Union or otherwise made available to Credit Union members, which services include, but are not limited to: loans, deposit accounts, ATM services, online banking services, and other electronic fund transfer services.
Member Services means a method of assisting Enrollees in understanding Contractor policies and procedures, facilitating referrals to participating specialists, and assisting in the resolution of problems and Enrollee complaints. The purpose of Member Services is to improve access to services and promote Enrollee satisfaction. National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) means a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality by evaluating and reporting on the quality of managed care and other health care organizations in the United States. NCQA developed HEDIS and maintains and updates a database of HEDIS results. Network Provider means any provider, group of providers, or entity that has a Network Provider agreement with the Contractor, or a Subcontractor, and receives Medicaid funding directly or indirectly to order, refer or render Covered Services as a result of the Contract. A Network Provider is not a Subcontractor by virtue of the Network Provider agreement.
Member Services is the Credit Union’s service established for its members that receives and responds to member questions about their accounts on a 24/7 basis. You can contact our 24/7 Member Services by telephone or by mail using the information in Section IX – Contact Information, or by sending a secure message through the Message Center in Online Services. “Members” are individuals who share a common bond and have an ownership interest in the Credit Union by virtue of holding shares in a Credit Union share account. To be eligible for membership and to open Credit Union accounts, individuals must fall within our “field of membership” by meeting the qualifications that define our membership.
