Merchant Service Provider definition

Merchant Service Provider has the meaning set out in Article 6, Section C.

Merchant Service Provider for purposes of this Agreement, a Merchant Service Provider shall mean any third party through whom CyberSource may offer the Transaction Services to Customer, including but not limited to a reseller, Independent Sales Organization (“ISO”), application service provider, merchant aggregator, acquiring bank and financing agency.

Merchant Service Provider or “MSP” - means a merchant bank, an agent for a merchant bank, or an independent sales organization (ISO) for a merchant bank, that provides Merchant with an account to accept credit cards and provides certain services related thereto.

Examples of Merchant Service Provider in a sentence

• In the event Customer is billed by a Merchant Service Provider in accordance with Section 6.2, Customer hereby authorizes the Merchant Service Provider to terminate this Agreement on Customer’s behalf.

• Notwithstanding Section 6.1, if Customer is to be billed by a Merchant Service Provider for some or all of the fees associated with Transaction Services, Customer shall pay the Merchant Service Provider in accordance with the terms mutually agreed upon between Customer and such Merchant Service Provider.

• Notwithstanding anything to the contrary and if agreed upon by the parties, a Merchant Service Provider may charge, xxxx, and collect such fees from Customer, in the amounts stated in and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement between Customer and such Merchant Service Provider.

• Customer may have enrolled in the Transaction Services via a Merchant Service Provider.

• Customer further recognize that if Customer contracted for the Transaction Services with a Merchant Service Provider, such provider is an independent contractor and is not a joint venturer, partner, or agent of CyberSource.

More Definitions of Merchant Service Provider

Merchant Service Provider means any third party through whom Authorize.Net may provide the eCheck.Net Service to Merchant, including, but not limited to, a reseller, independent service organization, application service provider, merchant aggregator, and acquiring bank.

Merchant Service Provider means any third party through whom Xxxxxxxxx.Xxx may provide the xXxxxx.Xxx Service to Merchant, including, but not limited to, a reseller, independent service organization, application service provider, merchant aggregator, and acquiring bank.

Merchant Service Provider means an entity that provides Merchant a merchant acquiring account and/or othe non-payment gateway services, including, without limitation, a reseller, acquirer or acquiring bank, independent service provider, application service provider, merchant aggregator, or financing agency. “Payment Network Rules” means rules promulgated from time to time by Visa U.S.A., Inc., Visa International, Inc., or MasterCard International, Inc., including, but not limited to, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), Visa Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP), MasterCard’s Site Data Protection Program (SDP) and any other rules of any other credit or debit card issuing company, such as, without limitation, Discover Card, Diner’s Club or American Express.

Merchant Service Provider for purposes of this Agreement, a Merchant Service Provider shall mean any third party through whom GSPAYTECH may offer the GSPAYTECH Services to Customer, including but not limited to a reseller, Independent Sales Organization (“ISO”), application service provider, merchant aggregator, acquiring bank and financing agency.

Merchant Service Provider means a Service Provider providing Program-related services to a Merchant.

Merchant Service Provider means an entity that provides Merchant a merchant acquiring account and/or othe non-payment gateway services, including, without limitation, a reseller, acquirer or acquiring bank, independent service provider, application service provider, merchant aggregator, or financing agency.

Merchant Service Provider means a third party other than Bank used by Merchant in connection with the Services received hereunder, including but not limited to, Merchant’s software providers, equipment providers, and/or third-party processors.
