Mid-Span Fiber Meet An Interconnection architecture whereby two carriers’ fiber transmission facilities meet at a mutually agreed upon point for the mutual exchange of traffic, subject to the trunking requirements and other terms and provisions of this Agreement. The “point” of Interconnection for purposes of 47 U.S.C §§251(c)(2) and 251(c)(3) remains on CenturyLink’s network and is limited to the Interconnection of facilities between the CenturyLink Serving Wire Center and the location of the CLEC switch or other equipment located within the area served by the CenturyLink Serving Wire Center. Minutes of Use: Shall be abbreviated as MOU. Multiple Exchange Carrier Access Billing (MECAB): The document prepared by the Billing Committee of the Ordering and Billing Forum (OBF), which functions under the auspices of the Carrier Liaison Committee (CLC) of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS). The currently effective version of the MECAB document, published by ATIS (0401004-00XX), contains the recommended guidelines for the billing of an Access Service provided by two or more LECs, or by one LEC in two or more states within a single LATA. National Emergency Number Association (NENA): A not-for-profit corporation established in 1982 to further the goal of “One Nation-One Number” for emergency calls. NENA is a networking source and promotes research, planning, and training. NENA strives to educate, set standards and provide certification programs, legislative representation and technical assistance for implementing and managing 911 systems.
Fiber Meet means an Interconnection architecture method whereby the Parties physically interconnect their networks via an optical fiber interface (as opposed to an electrical interface) at a mutually-agreed-upon location.
Mid-Span Meet means an Interconnection between two (2) networks, designated by two (2) Telecommunications Carriers, whereby each provides its own cable and equipment up to the Meet Point of the cable facilities. “Mid-Span Meet POI” A Mid-Span Meet POI is a negotiated Point of Interface, limited to the Interconnection of facilities between the CenturyLink Serving Wire Center location and the location of the CLEC switch or other equipment located within the area served by the CenturyLink Serving Wire Center.
Broadband or “Broadband Service” means any service defined as Broadband, or having advanced telecommunications capability, in the most recent Federal Communications Commission inquiry pursuant to Section 706 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 (P.L. 104-104).2
UNICEF Supply Website means UNICEF's public access webpage available at http://www.unicef.org/supply/index_procurement_policies.html, as may be updated from time to time.
Base Load Generation Resource means a Generation Capacity Resource that operates at least 90 percent of the hours that it is available to operate, as determined by the Office of the Interconnection in accordance with the PJM Manuals.
Planned External Financed Generation Capacity Resource means a Planned External Generation Capacity Resource that, prior to August 7, 2015, has an effective agreement that is the equivalent of an Interconnection Service Agreement, has submitted to the Office of the Interconnection the appropriate certification attesting achievement of Financial Close, and has secured at least 50 percent of the MWs of firm transmission service required to qualify such resource under the deliverability requirements of the Reliability Assurance Agreement.
Beam scattering foil means a thin piece of material (usually metallic) placed in the beam to scatter a beam of electrons in order to provide a more uniform electron distribution in the useful beam.
Independent Software Vendor or “ISV” means a Person that makes available to Participants and Authorized Traders a system or platform offering smart order routing, front-end trading applications, an aggregation platform or a combination of the foregoing but that does not provide Participants or Authorized Traders with the ability to effect transactions other than through the Trading System.
Primary dose monitoring system means a system which will monitor the useful beam during irradiation and which will terminate irradiation when a pre-selected number of dose monitor units have been delivered.
JetBrains Website means any website that is the property of JetBrains s.r.o. (“JetBrains”, “we”), including but not limited to everything hosted under the domains listed at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx/legal/websites/.
Beam monitoring system means a system designed and installed in the radiation head to detect and measure the radiation present in the useful beam.
Supply Pipe means any part of a service pipe which a water undertaker could not be, or have been required to lay under section 46 of the Water Industry Act 1991; and
Broadband Services means Verizon's Fios or DSL-based Internet services (whichever applies). Verizon's DSL-based Internet service is also known as "High Speed Internet" ("HSI").
Procurement Policy Board or “PPB” shall mean the board established pursuant to Charter § 311 whose function is to establish comprehensive and consistent procurement policies and rules which have broad application throughout the City.
Small municipal separate storm sewer system or "small MS4" means all separate storm sewers that are (i) owned or operated by the United States, a state, city, town, borough, county, parish, district, association, or other public body (created by or pursuant to state law) having jurisdiction over disposal of sewage, industrial wastes, stormwater, or other wastes, including special districts under state law such as a sewer district, flood control district or drainage district, or similar entity, or an Indian tribe or an authorized Indian tribal organization, or a designated and approved management agency under § 208 of the CWA that discharges to surface waters and (ii) not defined as "large" or "medium" municipal separate storm sewer systems or designated under 4VAC50-60-380 A 1. This term includes systems similar to separate storm sewer systems in municipalities, such as systems at military bases, large hospital or prison complexes, and highway and other thoroughfares. The term does not include separate storm sewers in very discrete areas, such as individual buildings.
Master Meter means the meter controlled by the licensed distributor and used for settlement of the master bill with the master consumer;
Drug outlet means a pharmacy, nursing home, shelter home, convalescent home, extended care facility, drug abuse treatment center, penal institution, hospital, family planning clinic, student health center, retail store, wholesaler, manufacturer, mail-order vendor or other establishment with facilities located within or out of this state that is engaged in dispensing, delivery or distribution of drugs within this state.
Shareholder Meeting means an annual general meeting of shareholders or special meeting of shareholders of the Company called for the purpose of electing directors to the board of directors of the Company.
Beam axis means a line from the source through the centers of the x-ray fields.
low-vision means a condition where a person has any of the following conditions, namely:—
Joint Proxy Statement has the meaning set forth in Section 6.03(a).
Secondary dose monitoring system means a system which will terminate irradiation in the event of failure of the primary dose monitoring system.
Local public procurement unit means any political subdivision or unit thereof which expends public funds for the procurement of supplies, services, or construction.
Generating Market Buyer means an Internal Market Buyer that is a Load Serving Entity that owns or has contractual rights to the output of generation resources capable of serving the Market Buyer’s load in the PJM Region, or of selling energy or related services in the PJM Interchange Energy Market or elsewhere.
Data Local Exchange Carrier or "DLEC" is a CLEC interconnecting primarily for purposes of transporting data.
