Mobile Crisis Services definition

Mobile Crisis Services means mental health services for individuals in crisis provided by mental health practitioners who respond to behavioral health crises onsite at the location in the community where the crisis arises and who provide a face-to-face therapeutic response. The goal of mobile crisis services is to help an individual resolve a psychiatric crisis in the most integrated setting possible and to avoid unnecessary hospitalization, inpatient psychiatric treatment, involuntary commitment, and arrest or incarceration.
Mobile Crisis Services has the meaning provided for in OAR 309-019-0105. “Monitor” means:
Mobile Crisis Services means services to be available on a 24-hour basis. Crisis Services are intended to stabilize the person in crisis, prevent further deterioration and provide immediate treatment and intervention in a location best suited to meet the needs of the individual and in the least restrictive environment available.
