Mobile food establishment definition

Mobile food establishment means a food establishment operating from a vehicle, including a watercraft, that returns to a mobile food establishment commissary for servicing and maintenance at least once every 24 hours.

Mobile food establishment means, except for pushcarts, a unit mounted on or pulled by a self-propelled vehicle; is self-contained with its own drinking water tank and waste water tank unless handling only prepackaged foods; is designed to be readily movable; and is moved daily to return to its commissary. A pushcart is a category of mobile food establishment.

Mobile food establishment or "MFE" means a food service operation that is operated from a movable motor driven or propelled vehicle, portable structure, or watercraft that can change location.
