Nonconforming use or structure definition
Nonconforming use or structure means an activity or a building, sign, structure, or a portion thereon which lawfully existed before the adoption of the zoning regulation, but which does not conform to all of the regulations contained in the zoning regulation which pertain to the zone in which it is located;
Nonconforming use or structure means a lawfully existing structure or use, or one in the process of being constructed at the time of the adopting of this title, which does not conform to the requirements of this title and the zoning district in which it is located.
