Northern Allowance definition

Northern Allowance means a flat rate weekly amount payable by the Company to employees working in a Northern Locality. This amount is in addition to the basic rate of pay and any premiums or differentials as provided for elsewhere in this Agreement.

Northern Allowance shall be paid to bargaining unit employees who live and work North of the 53rd parallel, as a bi-weekly supplement to existing wages, subject to the eligibility criteria and conditions in this Schedule.
