Perform electrical work in conformity to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
This standard complies with the requirements of the Ministry of Labour’s Occupational Health & Safety Act, the Ontario Building Code, and the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
All proposed buildings, billboards, signs, and other structures associated with the development must maintain minimum clearances to the existing overhead or underground electrical distribution system as specified by the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
The owner is required to supply and maintain an electrical room of sufficient size to accommodate the service entrance and meter requirements of the tenants and provide clear working space in accordance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
Installations shall meet Ontario Regulation 22/04 and Ontario Electrical Safety Code.

In addition, any attachments made to the Distributor’s system will be required to conform to Ontario Regulation 22/04 and Ontario Electrical Safety Code.

The Customer represents and warrants that they have installed, or will install prior to the connection of the generation facility, an isolation device satisfying Section 84 of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and in a location satisfactory to the Distributor.
Matters, notices, orders and communications related to a non-compliance under a Federal or Provincial Law or Regulations or a municipal By-law, including, but not limited to, the Property Standards By-law; the Building Code Act; the Building Code; the Fire Protection and Prevention Act; the Fire Code; the Ontario Electrical Safety Code; or, an order of the Medical Officer of Health are not appealable to the Committee or Council.
