Open Employment definition

Open Employment means Employment where an employee with a disability is engaged in the mainstream workforce, alongside employees without disability and any requirements provided in any Guidelines have been met. ‘Outcome’ means: a Work Assist Outcome; a Four-week Outcome; a Pathway Outcome; a Full Outcome; or a QSHW Outcome.
Open Employment means assistance provided by a jobactive organisation or a Disability Employment Service to assist people with disability to gain and maintain employment with another entity or organisation in the open employment market or self-employment. Open Employment can also mean the person with a disability has found Work in the open employment market or self-employment without assistance from jobactiv or a Disability Employment Service.

  • Part-time employment means any employment or combination of one or more employments in a civil division in which an individual works fifty percent or less of the time prescribed as the standard work week by the governing body or other appropriate authority of the civil division or where the employee earns not more than one-half (1/2) of the rate assigned to the position if the position has been allocated to a graded salary schedule.
