Operable Unit(s) or 'IOUs" shall mean all discrete remedial actions, other than removal actions, implemented prior to a final remedial action which are consistent with the final remedial action and which are taken to prevent or minimize the release of hazardous substances, pollutants or contaminants to prevent endangerment of the public health and welfare, or the environment. All OUs shall be undertaken in accordance with the NCP and the requirements of CERCLA, and applicable State laws. OU shall have the same meaning as defined in the NCP.

  • service pipe means a pipe which is part of a water installation provided and installed on any premises by the owner or occupier and which is connected or to be connected to a connection pipe to serve the water installation on the premises;

  • Capacity Interconnection Rights means the rights to input generation as a Generation Capacity Resource into the Transmission System at the Point of Interconnection where the generating facilities connect to the Transmission System.

  • Core Units means such Units of the Trust that are issued to Core Investors with the condition that these are not redeemable for a period of two years from the close of the First Offer Period. Such Units are transferable with this condition, but otherwise shall rank pari passu with all other Units, save for this restriction.   • Local Interconnection Trunks/Trunk Groups means the trunks that are used for the termination of Local Exchange Traffic, pursuant to iconectiv Technical Reference GR 317-CORE.

  • Generator Owner means the Person that owns the Generating Facility and has registered with the NERC as the Person responsible for complying with all NERC Reliability Standards applicable to the owner of the Generating Facility.
