State Laws. The Contract and the Certificates comply with the laws of the state in which they are delivered. Any surrender, death, or Annuity payments are equal to or greater than the minimum required by such laws. Annuity tables for legal reserve valuation shall be as required by state law. Such tables may be different from Annuity tables used to determine Annuity payments.
State Laws means and include California Health and Safety Code Section 11362.5 (Compassionate Use Act of 1996); California Health and Safety Code Sections 11362.7 to 11362.85 (Medicinal Marijuana Program Act); the MAUCRSA, and all other applicable laws and regulations of the state of California.
State Laws shall be those state Applicable Legal Requirements that are: (a) identified in Attachment 2, and (b) in effect as of the Effective Date. If no State Laws are set forth in Attachment 2, the Work shall not incorporate any consideration of State Laws.
