Courier means any armed person who transports or offers to transport from one place to another

Load Shedding means the systematic reduction of system demand by temporarily decreasing load in response to transmission system or area capacity shortages, system instability, or voltage control considerations under Tariff, Part II or Part III.
Halfway house means a facility licensed by the division of parole and community services of the department of rehabilitation and correction pursuant to section 2967.14 of the Revised Code as a suitable facility for the care and treatment of adult offenders.
STU or State Transmission Utility means the State Transmission Utility notified by respective State Government under Sub-section (1) of Section 39 of the Act.
911 Trunk A trunk capable of transmitting a 9-1-1 dialed call to the Selective Router, and used for the single purpose of transmission of 9-1-1 calls in accordance with applicable NENA Standards. Access Service Request (ASR): The Ordering and Billing Forum document designated by CenturyLink to be used by the Parties to add, establish, change or disconnect services or trunks for the purpose of providing special access, Switched Access Services, and Interconnection. Access Services: Interstate and intrastate Switched Access Services, Special Access and/or Private Line services, as appropriate. Act or the Act: The Communications Act of 1934, as amended by the Telecommunications Act of 1996, and as amended from time to time and codified at 47 ACTL: Access Customer Terminal Location as defined by Telcordia.
Taximeter means any device for calculating the fare to be charged in respect of any journey in a hackney carriage or private hire vehicle by reference to the distance travelled or time elapsed since the start of the journey, or a combination of both; and
Certified household means a household that has been certified by an Administrative Agent as a low-income household or moderate-income household.
Mass mailing means over two hundred substantially similar pieces of mail, but does not include a form letter or other mail that is sent in response to an unsolicited request, letter or other inquiry.
Interstate vehicle means a commercial vehicle operated in more than one state, province, territory, or possession of the United States or foreign country.
Money transmission means any of the following:
Sewage sludge fee weight means the weight of sewage sludge, in dry U.S. tons, excluding admixtures such as liming materials or bulking agents. Annual sewage sludge fees, as per section 3745.11(Y) of the Ohio Revised Code, are based on the reported sludge fee weight for the most recent calendar year.
travel distance means the distance an occupant has to travel to reach an exit.
State Transmission Utility or “STU” shall mean the Board or the Government company notified by the respective State Government under Sub-section (1) of Section 39 of the Act;
Interstate placement means the arrangement for the care of a child in an adoptive home, foster care placement or in the home of the child's parent or with a relative or nonagency guardian, into or out of the Commonwealth, by a child-placing agency or court when the full legal right of the child's parent or nonagency guardian to plan for the child has been voluntarily terminated or limited or severed by the action of any court.
Coastal high hazard area means a Special Flood Hazard Area extending from offshore to the inland limit of a primary frontal dune along an open coast and any other area subject to high velocity wave action from storms or seismic sources. The area is designated on a FIRM, or other adopted flood map as determined in Article 3, Section B of this ordinance, as Zone VE.
Coastal zone means the area comprising coastal public property, the coastal protection zone, coastal access land, coastal protected areas, the seashore and coastal waters, and includes any aspect of the environment on, in, under and above such area;
Roll coating means the application of a coating material to a substrate by means of hard rubber or steel rolls.
Contactless Transaction means a Transaction that is authorised by you touching or holding your Card or linked device against or near a POS Terminal without the need to insert your Card.
Air means open air not enclosed in a building, structure, machine, chimney, stack or flue; (“air”)
Electrical Distance means, for a Generation Capacity Resource geographically located outside the metered boundaries of the PJM Region, the measure of distance, based on impedance and in accordance with the PJM Manuals, from the Generation Capacity Resource to the PJM Region.
