Paid Administrative Leave definition

Paid Administrative Leave means temporary leave from a job assignment, with pay and benefits intact.

  • If the test results are not immediate, the employee will be placed on Paid Administrative Leave until the test results are received.

  • Management, with the approval of the County Administrator, may place an employee on Paid Administrative Leave in situations where the employee poses a potential safety or health risk to others or themselves, or is the subject of an investigation.

  • For such exempt employees, there will be up to 16 days on which the Paid Administrative Leave would occur.

  • Trainees that are paid directly by their sponsor (such as Postdoctoral Scholars-Paid Direct) are eligible for Paid Administrative Leave under the criteria and provisions listed above if their sponsor discontinues payments.

  • Administrative leave means placing an employee on leave pursuant to state law. Nothing in the Title IX regulations precludes a recipient from placing a non-student employee respondent on administrative leave during the pendency of a grievance process, provided that Massachusetts laws are followed.

  • Human service zone means a county or consolidated group of counties administering human services within a designated area in accordance with an agreement or plan approved by the department.
