Party to the Convention definition

Party to the Convention or ‘Party’ means a State or a regional economic integration organisation that has consented to be bound by the Convention and for which the Convention is in force;
Party to the Convention means a country or territory in respect of which the Convention is in force;
Party to the Convention means a State for which the Convention is in force or has been provisionally applied;

  • This Agreement shall continue to be in force for so long as the State Party remains a State Party to the Convention.

  • The competent authority of the Government of a Party to the Convention may inspect the Oil Record Book Part I on board any ship to which this Annex applies while the ship is in its port or offshore terminals and may make a copy of any entry in that book and may require the master of the ship to certify that the copy is a true copy of such entry.

  • Any violation of the requirements of the present Convention within the jurisdiction of any Party to the Convention shall be prohibited and sanctions shall be established therefor under the law of that Party.

  • Prehearing conference means a proceeding scheduled and conduc- ted by a hearing officer to address issues in preparation for a formal administrative hearing.
