Point of Hire definition

Point of Hire means the physical location from which a Crew is hired, which may be the Designated Dispatch Location, an Incident managed by the Government, or another location agreed upon by Contractor and Government.
Point of Hire is the closest capital city to the employee’s usual place of residence as stipulated in the Registration of Interest form.
Point of Hire means the place or community within British Columbia where the Employee resides.

Examples of Point of Hire in a sentence

  • The time under hire shall start at the time the equipment begins traveling to the incident after being ordered by the Government, and end at the estimated time of arrival back to the Point of Hire after being released, except as provided in Clause 7 of these General Xxxxxxx.

  • Payment for availability, flight time and FSV mileage begins when the aircraft starts its mobilization flight from the Contractors Base of Operations or the Aircraft’s Point of Hire, whichever is less, to the Assigned Work Location and ends upon arrival at the Assigned Work Location (including airports, etc.).

  • No payment for travel to an Incident or point of inspection, or return to the Point of Hire, will be made for equipment that does not pass inspection.

  • The State will not pay return travel time to the Point of Hire upon release or removal of a resource from an Incident resulting from defaults of the terms and conditions of the Agreement; or if the Resource Provider fails to correct violations at the incident following a notice and a request to correct by the State.

  • No payment for travel to an Incident, point of inspection or return to the Point of Hire, will be made for equipment that does not pass inspection.

  • Time shall start to accrue upon departure from the DDL or Point of Hire to each ODF Incident assignment, allowing for reasonable travel time to appointed destination.

  • The State will pay return travel time for all Crew Members to return to the Point of Hire.

  • Where an employee whose Point of Hire is outside of Western Australia makes their own travel arrangements back to their Point of Hire on R&R leave their reimbursement of travel costs (inclusive of fringe benefit taxes that the Employer may be liable for) shall be limited to a total cost no greater than the standard economy airfare from Perth to their Point of Hire as stipulated by the Employer.


More Definitions of Point of Hire

Point of Hire means where the Employee resides, or other such location that may be agreed to between the Employer and the Council.
Point of Hire for a Distant Employee means the Point of Hire specified in the Employee’s contract of employment.

Related to Point of Hire

  • Point of Sale means, for a Placement, the time at which an acquiror of Placement Shares entered into a contract, binding upon such acquiror, to acquire such Placement Shares.

  • Point of compliance means the location(s) at the source(s) of contamination or at the location(s) between the source(s) and the point(s) of exposure where concentrations of chemicals of concern must meet applicable risk-based screening levels at Tier 1 or other target level(s) at Tier 2 or Tier 3.
