Process B definition

Process B means the resolution processes defined and detailed below. Process B applies to all allegations of sexual misconduct and retaliation that do not constitute Title IX sexual harassment.
Process B means the administrative resolution procedures such as the student code of conduct, University disciplinary policies and procedures, or faculty and staff collective bargaining agreements.
Process B means the administrative resolution procedures detailed in Appendix 2 that apply only when Process A does not, as determined by the Title IX Coordinator.

  • Filing a complaint within Process B could be considered retaliatory if those charges could be applicable under Process A, when the Process B charges are made for the purpose of interfering with or circumventing any right or privilege provided afforded within Process A that is not provided by Process B.

  • Process B can also apply to sexual harassment (including sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking, as defined above) when jurisdiction does not fall within Process A, as determined by the Title IX Coordinator.

  • Process B may also apply to Title IX sexual harassment if the Title IX Coordinator determines that the allegations fall outside the jurisdiction of Process A.

  • Process B also applies to all allegations of retaliation covered by this Policy.

  • Unless the form of retaliation constitutes Title IX sexual harassment, which would be addressed under Process A, all reports and complaints alleging retaliation under this Policy or the laws covered by this Policy should be addressed under Process B.

  • The second Chemical Reagent, referred to as Process B, is an inorganic liquid solution which reacts with the mercury in coal, resulting in changes to the chemical form of the mercury, oxidizing more of it.

  • Process Gas means gas used for which alternate fuels, other than another gaseous fuel, are not technically feasible such as in applications requiring precise temperature controls and precise flame characteristics.
