Qualifying Resource has the meaning as set forth in Section 3.1.

Examples of Qualifying Resource in a sentence

  • The Qualifying Resource information provided in the FS Demonstration should be consistent with the information provided by the Program Operator as a result of Resource Registration (see BPM 105 Qualifying Resources).If a Participant experiences a catastrophic Qualifying Resource failure and is unable to replace the QCC on commercially reasonable terms prior to the FS Deadline, the Participant can seek an exception by submitting the attestation in Appendix B – Catastrophic Resource Failure Exception.

  • In order for the Project to be a Qualifying Resource under this Agreement, Seller must be able to demonstrate on an ongoing basis that the Project generates electricity from an eligible Solar Photovoltaic resource.

  • In addition to the FS Demonstration (see Section 3.1), accompanying Monthly Transmission Exception Requests (see Appendix C – Monthly Transmission Exception General Attestation) and required Senior Official Attestations, a Participant’s FS Submittal shall also include supporting information on Qualifying Resource testing, Thermal Resources without GADS data, Hydro Resource QCCs, late registered resources, and transition exceptions.

  • In addition to the FS Demonstration, the FS Submittal shall include supporting FS materials including information on Qualifying Resource Capability Testing, Thermal Resources without GADS data, Hydro Resource QCCs and forced outages, late registered resources, and Transition Period exceptions.

  • In related literature, the δpα are often referred to as biases; however, we refer to them as systematic errors in order toavoid potential confusion with the biases in photometric redshifts.

  • For example, if a Participant has requested a catastrophic Qualifying Resource exemption for July and August of 2035 at the FS Deadline (October 31, 2034), such Participant will submit a Catastrophic Failure Monthly Report for the July and August exception requests on or before the last days of November and December, 2034, and on or before the last days of January, February, March, April, and May, 2035, but need not submit such report for the July exception request on the last day of June 2035.

  • For clarity, any Qualifying Resource of an SA Seller that is Accessed by School User during an Enrollment Term will remain accessible to such School User through the end of such School User’s current School Access Subscription, even if; (A) such School Access Subscription ends after the end of the Enrollment Term in accordance with Section 4(b) herein, or (B) such Qualifying Resource’s status changes in accordance with Sections 2(d) or 4(c) herein.

  • A Participant that has Qualifying Resource in its balancing area, but is not a transmission service provider – and is therefore unable to provide transmission service reservation information – will attest that it has the transmission rights from the generation to the load on its system (see Appendix J – Transmission Rights Attestation).

  • As described in more detail below, there are four categories of Monthly Transmission Exception available to a Participant [terminology mirrors terms used in standard form Open Access Transmission Tariffs (OATTs) and on Open Access Same-time Information Systems (OASIS)]: • Enduring Constraints; • Future Firm Available Transmission Capability (ATC) Expected; • Transmission Outages and Derates; and • Counterflow of a Qualifying Resource.

  • Except as otherwise provided in Section 10.2 of this Tariff, no Participant, entity owning a Qualifying Resource, or any third-party shall have the right hereunder to receive from WPP or to otherwise obtain access to any documents, data or other information that has been identified as or deemed to be confidential or commercially sensitive under Section 10.2 of this Tariff by a disclosing Participant.

Related to Qualifying Resource

  • Qualifying Company means a qualifying company within the meaning of section 110 of the Taxes Act;

  • Qualifying Retirement means the Employee’s voluntary termination of employment after the Employee has (i) attained (X) age sixty-five (65), (Y) age fifty-five (55) with ten (10) Years of Service as a full-time employee of the Partnership or any of its Affiliates, or (Z) an age which, when added to such Years of Service of the Employee equals at least seventy-five (75), and (ii) previously delivered a written notice of retirement to the Partnership and on the date of retirement the Employee has satisfied the minimum applicable advance written notice requirement set forth below: By way of illustration, and without limiting the foregoing, if (i) the Employee is eligible to retire at age fifty-nine (59) after ten (10) Years of Service, (ii) the Employee gives two (2) years notice at age fifty-eight (58) that the Employee intends to retire at age sixty (60), and (iii) the Employee later terminates employment at age fifty-nine (59), then the Employee’s retirement at age fifty-nine (59) would not constitute a Qualifying Retirement. However, if (i) the Employee is eligible to retire at age fifty-nine (59) after ten (10) Years of Service, (ii) the Employee gives two (2) years notice at age fifty-eight (58) that the Employee intends to retire at age sixty (60), and (iii) the Employee terminates employment upon reaching age sixty (60), then the Employee’s retirement at age sixty (60) would constitute a Qualifying Retirement.

  • Qualifying services means the provision of any service to the State or to any other public body, except for public work as defined in section 2 of P.L.1963, c.150 (C. 34:11-56.26).

  • New Non-Qualifying Jobs means the number of Non-Qualifying Jobs, as defined in 34 TEXAS ADMIN. CODE Section 9.1051(14), to be created by the Applicant after the Application Approval Date in connection with the project which is the subject of its Application.

  • Qualifying Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) means either (i) standard gas or electric EEMs (i.e., measures found on any of the Standard Initiative applications); or (ii) measures eligible under the Custom Initiative approved by Ameren Illinois; or (iii) measures found in the Streetlighting or Retro-commissioning Initiative as identified in official program materials found on the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency website. The following technologies are not Qualifying EEMs: (i) technologies that do not demonstrate measurable and verifiable energy savings, including power conditioning; (ii) technologies that displace electrical energy use or natural gas to another fuel (i.e. fuel switching); or (iii) renewable energy projects (solar, wind power, etc.). Eligible gas measures do not include propane or butane measures.

  • New Qualifying Jobs means the total number of jobs to be created by the Applicant after the Application Approval Date in connection with the project that is the subject of its Application that meet the criteria of Qualifying Job as defined in Section 313.021(3) of the TEXAS TAX CODE and the Comptroller’s Rules.

  • Qualifying Customer means:

  • Qualifying medical condition means seizure disorder,

  • Qualifying week means the 15th week before the expected week of childbirth.

  • Pre-Qualifying Criteria means the criteria set out in clause 27.3 of this Part C.

  • ISO-NE Tariff means ISO-NE’s Transmission, Markets and Services Tariff, FERC Electric Tariff No. 3, as amended from time to time.

  • Qualifying Service means one year or more of continuous service and residence away from the home country and the country of nationality of a staff member, or the country where the staff member has acquired permanent resident status.

  • Qualifying Facility means an electric energy generating facility that complies with the qualifying facility definition established by PURPA and any FERC rules as amended from time to time (18 Code of Federal Regulations Part 292, Section 292.203 et seq.) implementing PURPA and, to the extent required to obtain or maintain Qualifying Facility status, is self-certified as a Qualifying Facility or is certified as a Qualified Facility by the FERC.

  • Qualifying position means one or more jobs with one or more participating public em-

  • qualifying person means a person in respect of whom payment has been made from the Fund, the Eileen Trust, MFET Limited, the Skipton Fund, the Caxton Foundation or the London Bombings Relief Charitable Fund;

  • Qualifying project means (i) any education facility, including, but not limited to a school building, any functionally related and subordinate facility and land of a school building (including any stadium or other facility primarily used for school events), and any depreciable property provided for use in a school facility that is operated as part of the public school system or as an institution of higher education; (ii) any building or facility that meets a public purpose and is developed or operated by or for any public entity; (iii) any improvements, together with equipment, necessary to enhance public safety and security of buildings to be principally used by a public entity; (iv) utility and telecommunications and other communications infrastructure; (v) a recreational facility; (vi) technology infrastructure and services, including, but not limited to, telecommunications, automated data processing, word processing and management information systems, and related information, equipment, goods and services; (vii) any technology, equipment, or infrastructure designed to deploy wireless broadband services to schools, businesses, or residential areas; or (viii) any improvements necessary or desirable to any unimproved locally- or state-owned real estate.

  • Short-Term Resource Procurement Target means, for Delivery Years through May 31, 2018, as to the PJM Region, for purposes of the Base Residual Auction, 2.5% of the PJM Region Reliability Requirement determined for such Base Residual Auction, for purposes of the First Incremental Auction, 2% of the of the PJM Region Reliability Requirement as calculated at the time of the Base Residual Auction; and, for purposes of the Second Incremental Auction, 1.5% of the of the PJM Region Reliability Requirement as calculated at the time of the Base Residual Auction; and, as to any Zone, an allocation of the PJM Region Short-Term Resource Procurement Target based on the Preliminary Zonal Forecast Peak Load, reduced by the amount of load served under the FRR Alternative. For any LDA, the LDA Short-Term Resource Procurement Target shall be the sum of the Short-Term Resource Procurement Targets of all Zones in the LDA.

  • Non-Qualifying Party means any Borrower or any Guarantor that on the Eligibility Date fails for any reason to qualify as an Eligible Contract Participant.

  • Qualifying country means a country with a reciprocal defense procurement memorandum of understanding or international agreement with the United States in which both countries agree to remove barriers to purchases of supplies produced in the other country or services performed by sources of the other country, and the memorandum or agreement complies, where applicable, with the requirements of section 36 of the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. 2776) and with 10 U.S.C. 2457. Accordingly, the following are qualifying countries:

  • Qualifying Criteria means the criteria outlined in Section 3 and which is used to determine whether an individual is eligible to receive criminal Legal Aid;

  • the qualifying period means the period of 12 years immediately preceding the date of publication of the advertisements referred to in paragraph (A)(iv) above or of the first of the two advertisements to be published if they are published on different dates; and

  • Qualifying Dependent means, for Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account purposes,

  • Qualifying exigency means a situation where the eligible employee seeks leave for one or more of the following reasons:

  • Tier 1 Help Desk means Customer's point of contact(s) to provide all Tier 1 Support within Customer's organization(s).

  • Qualifying Provinces means each of the provinces of Canada;

  • Qualifying Party means (a) a Limited Partner, (b) an Assignee or (c) a Person, including a lending institution as the pledgee of a Pledge, who is the transferee of a Limited Partner Interest in a Permitted Transfer; provided, however, that a Qualifying Party shall not include the General Partner.
