Tribal lands means all lands within the exterior boundaries of any Indian reservation and all dependent Indian communities.
Railway means the President of the Republic of India or the Administrative Officers of the Railway or Successor Railway authorized to deal with any matters, which these presents are concerned on his behalf.
Indian lands means lands owned by the United States and held for the use or benefit of Indian tribes or bands or individ- ual Indians and lands within the boundaries of a federally recog- nized reservation that are owned by Indian tribes or bands or indi- vidual Indians.
Lands means the purchase of real property or interest in real property.
Crown lands has the same meaning as is given to that term by the Land Act;
adjacent land means all land that borders a property and all land that would have bordered a property, if they were not separated by a river, road, railway line, power transmission line, pipeline, or a similar feature;
Tribal Land means all lands within the exterior boundaries of any land formally designated by the federal government as a Tribal reservation or land set apart by the federal government for a Tribe’s use such as pueblos and tribal trust lands but it does not include land that the Tribe acquired legal title through non-federal designation or award, unless 1) the tribe has obtained a federal public law stating that the Tribal members who reside in a particularly named area shall be considered (without any fiscal year limitation) for the purposes of the United States Housing Act of 1937 or such other federal housing law as residing on an Indian reservation or other Indian area; or 2) the tribe has acquired the land under Public Law 99-503 that provided for the replacement of certain lands within the Gila Bend Indian Reservation, the Secretary of the Interior holds such land in trust for the benefit of the tribe, and such land is deemed to be a Federal Indian Reservation for all purposes. The Project must be wholly located in the particular area stated in the federal public law to be considered to be Tribal Land.
Indian land means the lands of any Indian Tribe or within Indian country.
communal land means land under the jurisdiction of a traditional council determined in terms of section 6 of the Eastern Cape Traditional Leadership and Governance Act, (Act 4 of 2005) and which was at any time vested in -
Subject Lands means the lands subject to or covered by the oil and gas leases described in Exhibit A, insofar and only insofar as they are located within the AMI Area and cover the Target Formation, subject to the exceptions, exclusions and reservations set forth on such Exhibit A.
Project Land means any parcel or parcels of land on which the project is developed and constructed by a promoter;
Timberlands means all the timberlands from time to time owned by the Loan Parties.
Said Land shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Recital XV of this Deed and which is more fully and particularly described in the Second Schedule written hereunder and delineated and demarcated in Annexure – B hereto;
Land means the land described in Exhibit A.
Refinery means a facility used to produce motor fuel from crude oil, unfinished oils, natural gas liquids, or other hydrocarbons and from which motor fuel may be removed by pipeline, by marine vessel, or at a rack.
mining area means all those pieces of land containing two hundred and forty‑six (246) square miles or thereabouts situate in what is known to the parties as the “Xxx Xxxxx‑Siberia Nickel Laterite Area” the subject of the mineral claims applications for mineral claims and Temporary Reserves listed in the First Schedule hereto which are generally delineated and respectively coloured green and orange and red in the plan marked “X” signed by or on behalf of the parties for the purpose of identification;
Crown land means land in which there is a Crown interest or a Duchy interest;
Contiguous zone means the entire zone established by the United States under Article 24 of the Convention on the Territorial Sea and the Contiguous Zone (37 FR 11906 June 15, 1972).
Agricultural lands means land currently used for the purpose of producing an agricultural commodity for commercial purposes, land left fallow under a crop rotational program, or land enrolled in an agricultural subsidy or set-aside program.
Railroad means that term as defined under section 109 of the railroad code of 1993, 1993 PA 354, MCL 462.109.
Riparian area means the transition area between flowing water and terrestrial (land) ecosystems composed of trees, shrubs and surrounding vegetation which serve to stabilize erodible soil, improve both surface and ground water quality, increase stream shading and enhance wildlife habitat.
Relevant Land in relation to Eligible Existing Tenure or Special Advance Tenure, means the land which is the subject of that Eligible Existing Tenure or Special Advance Tenure, as the case may be; “second variation date” means the date on which clause 3 of the variation agreement made on or about 7 November 2011 between the State and the Company comes into operation;
Pipeline System means each system of Pipeline Assets, Real Property and Easements relating thereto making up an integrated gathering system and gathering system, or other pipeline system.
mining areas means the areas delineated and coloured red on the Plan marked “A” initialled by or on behalf of the parties hereto for the purposes of identification;
Railway Corridor means, prior to the grant of a Special Railway Licence, the land for the route of the Railway the subject of that licence, access roads (other than Lateral Access Roads), areas from which stone, sand, clay and gravel may be taken, temporary accommodation facilities for the railway workforce, water bores and Additional Infrastructure (if any) which is the subject of a subsisting agreement pursuant to subclause (3)(a) and after the grant of the Special Railway Licence the land from time to time the subject of that Special Railway Licence;
apartment building means a residential use building, or the residential use portion of a mixed-use building, other than a townhouse or stacked townhouse containing four or more dwelling units each of which shall have access to above grade common halls, stairs, elevators, and yards;
