Relatives definition

Relatives means a person, as defined in Section 2(77) of the Companies Act, 2013 and any amendments thereto.
Relatives in relation to a person means a spouse, parent, child, stepchild, brother, sister, grandchild or grandparent of the person.
Relatives means, with respect to any individual, the spouse, parents, siblings and descendants of such individual and their respective issue (whether by blood or adoption and including stepchildren) and the spouses of such persons.

Examples of Relatives in a sentence

  • Families include: CalWORKs recipients who are pregnant with no other 16 children at the time of voluntary enrollment; or, CalWORKs recipients who are first time parents 17 of, or Caretaker Relatives of, a child less than twenty-four (24) months of age at the time of 18 voluntary enrollment in CalWORKs Home Visiting Initiative services.

  • Relatives are defined for this purpose as spouse, significant other, domestic partner, son, daughter, grandchild, xxxxxx child, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent, parent, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, xxxxx, nephew, first cousin, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and corresponding relatives of employee’s spouse, significant other or domestic partner.
