Request for Arbitration definition

Request for Arbitration means a request submitted under Article 4 of the ICC Rules.
Request for Arbitration is not submitted in accordance with the aforementioned time limitations, the party failing to do so will not be able to bring his claims to this or any other forum. The requesting party may use a "Request for Arbitration" form supplied by VaxGen (Appendix C). Alternatively, the requesting party may create a "Request For Arbitration" form that, unless otherwise required by law, clearly states "Request For Arbitration" at the beginning of the first page and includes the following information:

Examples of Request for Arbitration in a sentence

  • The other party (the "Respondent") shall appoint its arbitrator within seven (7) days of receipt of the Request for Arbitration and shall notify the Claimant of such appointment in writing.

  • The party initiating arbitration (the "Claimant") shall appoint its arbitrator in its request for arbitration (the "Request for Arbitration").

  • In such a matter, the Parties agree that one arbitrator shall be appointed by each party within twenty (20) days of receipt by respondent of the Request for Arbitration or, in default thereof, appointed by the AAA in accordance with its Commercial Rules, with the third presiding arbitrator appointed by agreement of the two Party-appointed arbitrators within fourteen (14) days of the appointment of the second arbitrator or, in default of such agreement, by the AAA.

  • Alternatively, if, before the expiration of the said period of 60 calendar days, either Party fails to participate or to continue to participate in the mediation, the dispute, controversy or claim shall, upon the filing of a Request for Arbitration by the other Party, be referred to and finally determined by arbitration in accordance with the WIPO Expedited Arbitration Rules.

  • Alternatively, if, before the expiration of the said period of 60 calendar days, either Party fails to participate or to continue to participate in the mediation, the dispute, controversy or claim shall, upon the fi ling of a Request for Arbitration by the other Party, be referred to and finally determined by arbitration in accordance with the WI PO Expedited Arbitration Rules.
