Rotating Shifts. Rotating shifts are when an employee works on rostered rotating shifts, i.e. day, afternoon and night. "Permanent Night Shift": Permanent Night Shift is defined as a roster of shifts consisting of Night Shift only for a continuous period of four (4) weeks or more. “Shift Worker”. Whilst an employee works on rotating shifts or permanent night shift, they shall be considered to be a Shift Worker for the purposes of this Agreement.
