Safe Work Method Statement definition

Safe Work Method Statement means a statement about the safety processes and procedures devised by the Consultant in a form approved by MLA from time to time; Services means the services to be provided by the Consultant under this Agreement, including but not limited to the services specified in the Statement of Work; Site means any sites at which the Consultant carries out any part of the Services; Specifications means any specifications set out in a Statement of Work or otherwise agreed between the parties in writing; Statement of Work means a statement in the form set out in the schedule, specifying Services to be provided by the Consultant (and associated specific terms for the provision of those Services), as may be executed from time to time; Student means any postgraduate student that may assist the Consultant with the Services and whose name and any further details are listed in the Statement of Work (if applicable); and Thesis means a thesis produced by a Student which relates to the Services. Where a word or phrase is given a defined meaning another part of speech or other grammatical form in respect of that word or phrase has a corresponding meaning. Presumptions of interpretation Unless the context otherwise requires a word which denotes: the singular denotes the plural and vice versa; and a person includes an individual, a body corporate and a government. Successors and assigns A person includes the trustee, executor, administrator, successor in title and assign of that person. This clause must not be construed as permitting a party to assign any right under this Agreement.

  • Design Criteria Package means concise, performance-oriented drawings or specifications for a public construction project.
