Severe physical disability definition

Severe physical disability means a disability that limits or impairs the person’s mobility or use of a hand or arm and that requires the full-time assistance of another person or that makes the person dependant on a wheelchair for the person’s normal life routine.

  • Note: if the patient meets a Special Population, (HIV/AIDS, Severe physical disability and appropriate distance from Rancho, Star housing resident, Women of reproductive age without significant medical condition) the “Preferred Available Location” selection is limited to that clinic(s).
