Significant Borrower definition

Significant Borrower means any Political Subdivision whose outstanding aggregate principal amount of bonds issued by such Political Subdivision and held, on and after April 1, 2022, in the Portfolio Account comprises at least twenty percent (20%) in aggregate principal amount of all Political Subdivision Obligations held in the Portfolio Account.
Significant Borrower means any Political Subdivision whose outstanding aggregate principal amount of bonds issued by such Political Subdivision and held in the Portfolio Account comprises at least twenty percent (20%) in aggregate principal amount of all Political Subdivision Bonds held in the CWSRF Portfolio Account or the DWSRF Portfolio Account, as the case may be.

More Definitions of Significant Borrower

Significant Borrower in respect of a company, means –
Significant Borrower means (i) a natural person who has indebtedness for money borrowed from CIBC or a CIBC subsidiary, other than a loan secured by a mortgage on the person’s principal residence, the total principal of which exceeds 1/50 of 1% of CIBC’s regulatory capital; or (ii) an entity that has indebtedness for money borrowed from CIBC or a CIBC subsidiary, the total principal of which exceeds the greater of 1/20th of 1% of CIBC’s regulatory capital and 25% of the value of the entity’s assets.
Significant Borrower means a Recipient under Pledged Project Obligations that have an aggregate unpaid principal amount equal to or greater than twenty percent (20%) of the aggregate unpaid principal amount of all Pledged Project Obligations.
Significant Borrower means, with respect to a Bond Indenture, any Political Subdivision whose outstanding aggregate principal amount of Political Subdivision Obligations issued by such Political Subdivision and held, on and after April 1, 2017, in the related Portfolio Account comprises at least twenty percent (20%) in aggregate principal amount of all Political Subdivision Obligations held in such Portfolio Account.
