Special Capital Expenditures definition

Special Capital Expenditures means certain routine, non-major expenditures which are classified as "capital expenditures" under generally-accepted accounting principles, but which will be funded from the FF&E Reserve (pursuant to Section 5.02), rather than pursuant to the provisions of Section 5.03. Special Capital Expenditures consist of the following types of expenditures: exterior and interior repainting; resurfacing building walls and floors; resurfacing parking areas; replacing folding walls; and miscellaneous similar expenditures.

Special Capital Expenditures consist of the following types of expenditures: exterior and interior repainting (other than routine "touch-up" and repairs); resurfacing building walls and floors (other than routine "touch-up" and repairs); resurfacing parking areas (other than routine "touch-up" and repairs); replacing folding walls; and miscellaneous similar expenditures, to the extent the same do not constitute ordinary repair and maintenance.
Special Capital Expenditures means capital expenditures made with net proceeds derived from a public offering of common stock by Parent and which is transferred to a Borrower as equity. Special Capital Expenditures shall be designated by Borrower Representative and generally will include store expansions and new stores.

Examples of Special Capital Expenditures in a sentence

  • Submanager shall establish a reserve account (the "FF&E Reserve"), in a bank or similar institution reasonably acceptable to both Submanager and Primary Manager, to cover the cost of: (i) replacements, renewals and additions to the FF&E at the Hotel; and (ii) Special Capital Expenditures.

  • In addition, Lessee covenants that the Five-Year Plan attached hereto as Exhibit "B-1" shall be implemented, subject to any mutually-approved changes, as Special Capital Expenditures from the FF&E Reserve.

More Definitions of Special Capital Expenditures

Special Capital Expenditures means both (i) BHS' cost of Capital Expenditures made after July 15, 2002 and prior to the Agreement Effective Date, in an amount not to exceed $3,500,000, in connection with making those repairs related to life and safety issues which state regulators have requested that BHS make as soon as practicable and (ii) BHS' cost of other non-routine capital expenditures made after July 15, 2002 that are approved in writing by both BHS and Borrower.
Special Capital Expenditures means, during any period, any Capital Expenditures incurred during such period by the Borrower or any Guarantor relating to the Omega Facilities, the LTAC's or APS, or in connection with Health Care Facilities identified by the Borrower in the Three-Year Business Plan to be sold or otherwise disposed of, or to settlements with creditors approved by

Related to Special Capital Expenditures

  • Net Capital Expenditures means for any period the amount by which Capital Expenditures during such period exceeds reimbursements for such items during such period from any fund established pursuant to the Loan Documents.

  • Investment Capital Expenditures means capital expenditures other than Maintenance Capital Expenditures and Expansion Capital Expenditures.

  • Capital Expenditures means, with respect to any Person for any period, the aggregate amount of all expenditures (whether paid in cash or accrued as a liability) by such Person during that period for the acquisition or leasing (pursuant to a Capital Lease) of fixed or capital assets or additions to property, plant, or equipment (including replacements, capitalized repairs, and improvements) which should be capitalized on the balance sheet of such Person in accordance with GAAP.

  • Permitted Capital Expenditures has the meaning given that term in Section 9.12(b).

  • Maintenance Capital Expenditures means cash expenditures (including expenditures for the addition or improvement to the capital assets owned by any Group Member or for the acquisition of existing, or the construction of new, capital assets) if such expenditures are made to maintain, including over the long term, the operating capacity or revenues of the Partnership Group.

  • Consolidated Capital Expenditures means, for any period, the aggregate of all expenditures of Company and its Subsidiaries during such period determined on a consolidated basis that, in accordance with GAAP, are or should be included in “purchase of property and equipment or similar items”, or that should otherwise be capitalized, as reflected in the consolidated statement of cash flows of Company and its Subsidiaries.

  • Expansion Capital Expenditures means cash expenditures for Acquisitions or Capital Improvements. Expansion Capital Expenditures shall include interest (including periodic net payments under related interest rate swap agreements) and related fees paid during the Construction Period on Construction Debt. Where cash expenditures are made in part for Expansion Capital Expenditures and in part for other purposes, the General Partner shall determine the allocation between the amounts paid for each.

  • Approved Capital Expenditures means Capital Expenditures incurred by Borrower and either (i) included in the Approved Annual Budget or (ii) approved by Lender, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed.
