Special Supplement definition

Special Supplement means a reimbursement payment for any specialized medical or health care services, supplies or equipment, pre-authorized by the department, and required to maintain the health and well-being of the disabled adult or elderly person. This supplement is separate from and may be utilized in addition to the basic medical subsidy. Reimbursement may be Payment is authorized for regularly purchased services and supplies or special, non-recurring services or equipment.
Special Supplement means a manuscript for which Amgen has paid a journal for placement or publication (not including routine manuscript submission or preparation fees generally applicable to articles submitted for consideration for publication).
