Special Trust Units definition

Special Trust Units means the special Trust Units of the Trust, created, issued and certified hereunder and for the time being outstanding and entitled to the benefits hereof;
Special Trust Units means units of interest in the REIT (other than Units) authorized and issued under the Declaration of Trust to a holder of securities which are exchangeable for Units;
Special Trust Units means special units of the Fund which entitle the holder to that number of whole votes (rounded down to the nearest whole vote) at all meetings of Unitholders or in respect of any written resolution of Unitholders equal to the number of Units into which the Class B Exchangeable Units are exchangeable. The Special Trust Units are redeemable for a nominal amount and entitle the holder to receive nominal amounts as distributions and upon liquidation;

Examples of Special Trust Units in a sentence

  • The Special Trust Units have been issued solely to provide voting rights to Clearwater Class B units (“CSLP Exchangeable Units”).

More Definitions of Special Trust Units

Special Trust Units means trust units of the Fund providing voting rights in the Fund to holders of Class B Partnership Units;
Special Trust Units means units in Dream Industrial REIT (other than Units) authorized and issued under the Declaration of Trust to a holder of securities which are exchangeable for Units, including the LP B Units, all of which are currently held directly and indirectly by DOLP.
Special Trust Units means the class of special trust units of the Fund authorized by the Declaration of Trust;
Special Trust Units means the Special Trust Units of Dundee REIT issued to the holders of LP Class B Units, Series 1 providing rights to vote (and only a nominal economic interest) as a unitholder of Dundee REIT, all of which are currently indirectly held by Dundee Corporation;
Special Trust Units means the units of the Fund issued to represent voting rights in the Fund and which accompany certain securities convertible into or exchangeable for Trust Units;

Related to Special Trust Units

  • Trust Units means units of the Trust;

  • Initial Trustee shall have the meaning defined in the preamble hereto.

  • Trust Unit means units in the capital of the Trust;

  • Initial Trust Agreement shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 2.12 of the Trust Agreement.

  • Trust Securities means the Common Securities and the Capital Securities.

  • Original Trust Agreement has the meaning specified in the recitals to this Trust Agreement.

  • Class C Trustee Class D Certificate" and "Class D Trust", shall have the respective meanings assigned to such terms in the Intercreditor Agreement.

  • Trust Common Securities means the securities representing common undivided beneficial interests in the assets of the Trust.

  • Preferred Units means a Partnership Interest, including the Series A Preferred Units, designated as a “Preferred Unit,” which entitles the holder thereof to a preference with respect to distributions, or as to the distribution of assets upon any Liquidation Event, over Common Units.
