Specified risk materials definition

Specified risk materials means items, associated with the nervous system of beef cattle, that are prohibited from human food as defined in 9 CFR 310.22.

  • Specified risk materials include the brain, skull, eyes, trigeminal ganglia, spinal cord, vertebral column (excluding the vertebrae of the tail, the transverse processes of the thoracic and lumbar vertebrae, and the wings of the sacrum), and dorsal root ganglia of cattle 30 months of age and older, and the tonsils and distal ileum of the small intestine of all cattle.

  • Paragraph (a)(3) of § 310.22 is amended by removing the second sentence and adding the following sentence and paragraphs (a)(3)(i) and (ii) in its place:§ 310.22 Specified risk materials from cattle and their handling and disposition.

  • Specified risk materials (SRMs)From animals of all ages: the entire head (excluding the tongue) including the brain, eyes, trigeminal ganglia and tonsils; the thymus; and the intestines from the duodenum to the rectum.

  • Specific errors/faults as well as performance monitoring capabilities and device access authentication requirements have been defined but not yet implemented.

  • Specified risk materials refer to the tissues listed in the opinion adopted on 8-9.12.97 and amended on 19- 20.02.98.

  • SAP Materials means any software, programs, tools, systems, data, or other materials made available by SAP or any other member of the SAP Group to Partner or to an End User (either directly or indirectly via Partner) prior to or in the course of the performance under any part of this Agreement including, but not limited to, the other SAP Products.

Custom Materials includes Materials created from Standard Materials.
