Stage Gate definition

Stage Gate means a critical GO/STOP decision point. It occurs at least once within a fiscal year. Its occurrence is based upon the essential performance elements that have to happen for the rest of the project to be worth doing and before the project can go any further (see Appendix II for further details).

Examples of Stage Gate in a sentence

  • If the Stage Gate Review Committee determines that the Stage Gate was not completed, CEPI shall promptly discuss with Awardee potential actions to be taken in order to complete such Stage Gate.

  • Stage Gate Funding As applicable, Grant Awards will be distributed incrementally over a time period and subject to conditions described in the Grant Agreement (as further defined) and in a manner that is appropriate for each winning solution.

  • Unless otherwise addressed in a Work Package for a given Stage Gate, when Awardee believes that a Stage Gate in a Work Package will be achieved in the near term, Awardee shall notify the JMAG promptly and provide relevant information (including the completion of a form provided by CEPI) and request a meeting of CEPI’s committee authorised to assess whether Stage Gates have been completed (the “Stage Gate Review Committee”).

  • CEPI will pay the Awardee in accordance with the Budget and the iPDP and, where applicable, upon completion of a Stage Gate (as determined pursuant to Clause 2.5).

  • Except for the Initial Lifetime Asset Management Plan, any Fixed Asset Management Costs for any Asset Management Work to be carried out in any Planning Period N and included in the applicable LAMP will be at the level of at least a Class 2 estimate and at Stage Gate CD3 in accordance with the BP Project Management Guidelines, as determined by the Generator acting in good faith.

  • For these projects, at each Stage Gate, a review is undertaken: assessing the project against its specified objectives at the particular stage in the project’s life cycle, identifying early the areas that may require corrective action and validating that a project is ready to progress successfully to the next stage.

  • The Stage Gate Committee (described above) also will be involved in Project oversight.


More Definitions of Stage Gate

Stage Gate means a point of control where the Parties determine as to whether a Work Package/Additional Work Package has been completed or a Milestone Criterion has been achieved;
