Student Data Request definition

Student Data Request means a request made by Subscriber, a parent or legal guardian, or student to exercise any rights granted by the Data Protection Laws. Schedule 1 DISCOVERY EDUCATION, INC. No student PII is required for the use of any of the basic Discovery Education services, however, in the event Users elect to use any of the functionality within the Discovery Education services which provide personalized pages, individual accounts, other user-specific customization, or otherwise submit or upload information (all such data is generally limited to the following: school name, first name, last name, grade level, and Discovery generated username/password), all such PII provided to Discovery will be protected in accordance with this Policy. No school employee PII is required for Professional Development Services other than first name and last name for the purposes of attendance logs.

  • Urgent care request means a claim relating to an admission, availability of care, continued stay or health care service for which the covered person received emergency services but has not been discharged from a facility, or any Pre-Service Claim or concurrent care claim for medical care or treatment for which application of the time periods for making a regular external review determination:

  • Research record means any data, document, computer file, computer diskette, or any other written or non-written account or object that reasonably may be expected to provide evidence or information regarding the proposed, conducted, or reported research that constitutes the subject of an allegation of research misconduct. A research record includes, but is not limited to, grant or contract applications, whether funded or unfunded; grant or contract progress and other reports; laboratory notebooks; notes; correspondence; videos; photographs; X-ray film; slides; biological materials; computer files and printouts; manuscripts and publications; equipment use logs; laboratory procurement records; animal facility records; human and animal subject protocols; consent forms; medical charts; and patient research files.

  • Batch Record means the production record pertaining to a Batch.

  • Client Application means an application developed by Licensee that a) utilizes the Runtime Product, b) is installed fully on an end user’s machine, with all report processing local to that machine, and c) adds significant and primary functionality to the Runtime Product.

  • Database Management System (DBMS) A system of manual procedures and computer programs used to create, store and update the data required to provide Selective Routing and/or Automatic Location Identification for 911 systems. Day: A calendar day unless otherwise specified. Dedicated Transport: UNE transmission path between one of CenturyLink’s Wire Centers or switches and another of CenturyLink’s Wire Centers or switches within the same LATA and State that are dedicated to a particular customer or carrier.
