Sublease Rent definition

Sublease Rent means any rent or other consideration paid to Tenant directly or indirectly by any subtenant or any other amount received by Tenant from or in connection with any subletting (including, but not limited to, sums paid for the sale or rental, or consideration received on account of any contribution, of Tenant's Property or sums paid in connection with the supply of electricity or HVAC) less the Sublease Expenses.
Sublease Rent shall have the meaning set forth in Section 12.7 hereof.
Sublease Rent as used herein shall include any consideration of any kind received by Tenant from or on behalf of any subtenant, if the sums are related in any manner to the Premises, including, without limitation Rent, operating expense payments, bonus money and payments for the purchase of or usage of Tenant’s furniture, fixtures, inventory, equipment, accounts, goodwill, general intangibles and other assets. Each sublease approved by Landlord shall stand alone as to the computation of the Bonus Amount.

Examples of Sublease Rent in a sentence

  • Any Sublease shall be to an Eligible Household, at a rent not exceeding the Maximum Sublease Rent, for a term not exceeding eighteen (18) months, on a Sublease form approved by the Monitor.

  • The HDFC shall prohibit Shareholders and Nonpurchasing Tenants from (i) subletting an Apartment to, or otherwise permitting the occupancy of an Apartment by, an Ineligible Household, (ii) subletting an Apartment for more than the Maximum Sublease Rent, or (iii) subletting any Apartment for a cumulative total of more than eighteen (18) months in any five (5) year period.

  • Any fee required for Internet should be included in the Total Sublease Rent as stated above.

  • If Tenant fails to pay the Sublease Rent, Landlord may exercise any and all rights and remedies available to Landlord for nonpayment of Base Rent.

  • Sublease Rent for each type of space shall not exceed the Rent paid by Airline hereunder.


More Definitions of Sublease Rent

Sublease Rent for any period, shall mean all rent, additional rent (but excluding all additional rent attributable to overtime or premium services furnished to Subtenant upon request) and other consideration to be paid by the Subtenant to Sublandlord under the Sublease for such period.

Sublease Rent means any rent or other consideration paid to Tenant directly or indirectly, by any subtenant, including Landlord or its designee pursuant to Section 12.6(C) hereof, or any other amount received by Tenant from or in connection with any subletting (including, but not limited to sums paid for the sale or rental, or consideration received on account of any contribution in excess of the Fair Market Value of Tenant’s Property as determined by reputable independent third party appraiser reasonably satisfactory to Landlord, of Tenant’s Property, or sums paid in connection with the supply of electricity or HVAC) after deducting therefrom the following sublease expenses (the “Sublease Expenses”): (i) the reasonable out-of-pocket cost and expenses of Tenant in making such sublease such as brokers’ fees, attorneys’ fees, and advertising fees paid to unrelated third parties, (ii) any sums paid to Landlord pursuant to paragraph (A)(10) of Section 12.6, (iii) the cost of improvements or alterations costs made by Tenant expressly and solely for the purpose of preparing that part of the Premises for such subtenancy and (iv) the unamortized unreimbursed cost of any Tenant’s Property leased to and used by such subtenant. In determining Sublease Rent, the costs set forth in clauses (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) shall be deducted as and when incurred by Tenant.

Sublease Rent means, collectively, any and all Sublease Fixed Rent and Sublease Additional Rent. Neither Subtenant, nor any persons or entities claiming under Subtenant, shall claim any abatement, diminution or reduction of Sublease Rent under any circumstances, for any cause or reason. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if Sublandlord is entitled to any abatement of rent under the Prime Lease (whether by casualty, condemnation, service interruption or otherwise), Subtenant shall likewise be entitled to a like abatement of rent under this Sublease.
