Successor Holder definition

Successor Holder means the individual who is the Holder's survivor as defined in subsection 146.2(1) of the Act whom the Holder designates to become and who then becomes the holder (as defined in subsection 146.2(1) of the Act) of the Plan;

Successor Holder means spouse or common-law partner designated by you as the successor holder of the TFSA in the event of your death.

Successor Holder. Means an individual’s survivor, following the death of the individual, who was duly designated by the individual to acquire all their rights as the holder of the TFSA.

Examples of Successor Holder in a sentence

• In the event of your death where there is no Successor Holder, or a Successor Holder has not been designated, we shall, upon receipt of satisfactory evidence of your death, realize your interest in the TFSA.

• Any reference to “Holder” or “applicant” in the Declaration of Trust or in the Application means the Holder or Successor Holder.

• Estate MattersYou may designate your spouse or common-law partner as the Successor Holder of the TFSA in a will.

• Alternatively, in provinces or territories where it is allowed, you may designate a Successor Holder on a form acceptable to us and in accordance with applicable provincial legislation.

More Definitions of Successor Holder

Successor Holder means the estate of the deceased Original Holder as well as any successor beneficial owner (by will or laws of succession) of the S-SCUs of the deceased Original Holder, provided however, that a Record Holder of S-SCUs that was deemed an Original Holder under clause (e) above with respect to such S-SCUs on behalf of such deceased Original Holder shall likewise be deemed a Successor Holder of such S-SCUs on behalf of such Successor Holder(s) for purposes of this Section 5.

Successor Holder means an individual who is my survivor as defined in subsection 146.2(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada) ("Tax Act") whom I designate to become and who becomes the holder (as defined in subsection 146.2(1) of the Tax Act) of the Plan after my death; and "Holder" means the Original Holder or the Successor Holder.

Successor Holder means any direct or indirect member, limited partner, or equityholder of TPG Sponsor that receives Registrable Securities in a Successor Distribution and becomes a signatory to this Agreement or an amendment thereto.
