Target Software definition

Target Software has the meaning set forth in Section 3.16.
Target Software means any software (including firmware and other software embedded in hardware devices) owned, developed (or currently being developed), used, marketed, distributed, licensed or sold by any Target Company at any time (other than non-customized third-party software licensed to any Target Company for internal use on a non-exclusive basis).
Target Software means software (including CD-ROMs) of Target that Target makes available or is under development with the intention of making available to third parties in connection with Target's business, and excludes CAS.

Examples of Target Software in a sentence

  • Customer must purchase one (1) Runtime License for each core, processor, or node of each device or product containing the Runtime Components used to execute the Target Software distributed by Customer.

  • If the Licensed Product on the applicable Quote includes the word “Embedded” in the product description, Customer may only use Runtime Licenses to distribute Runtime Components in licensed quantities as specified in the applicable Quote to execute the Target Software.

  • PTC does not offer Support Services for Runtime Licenses and for Runtime Components that are distributed as part of Customer’s Target Software.

  • Customer may only use Perc Developer Licenses in quantities specified in the applicable Quote on a Concurrent User basis for developers, engineers, architects or other project team members that test, debug, build, analyze, troubleshoot or otherwise interact with the Target Software via the Licensed Software.

  • Entitles Customer to one license to use the Licensed Product as a Concurrent User Product for the sole purpose of developing, testing, and maintaining the Target Software.


More Definitions of Target Software

Target Software has the meaning set forth in Section 5.07(l).
Target Software means all Software that is owned by the Target or any of its Subsidiaries, and which is used in the Target’s or any of its Subsidiaries’ provision of products and services to customers or is otherwise used by or on behalf of the Target or any of its Subsidiaries in, or otherwise necessary for, the operation of their businesses.
Target Software means the Software in respect of which an Enhancement is to be installed, uploaded or updated as expressly identified as such under an Order;
Target Software is set forth in Section 3.10(k) of the Target Disclosure Schedule, and a list of known bugs as such list is maintained by the Acquired Corporation. Except for the warranties and indemnities contained in those contracts and agreements set forth in Section 3.14 of the Target Disclosure Schedule and warranties implied by law which cannot be disclaimed, the Acquired Corporation has not given any warranties or indemnities or service level commitments relating to any Target Products sold or rendered by the Acquired Corporation.
Target Software means Target’s computer software programs or applications (in both source code and object code form and including without limitation firmware) and all related technical documentation, user or operator manuals, software libraries, compilers, configurations, data, databases, schematics and diagrams.
Target Software means all Software that constitutes Target Owned Proprietary Rights.
Target Software shall have the meaning as set forth in Section 3.7.1 of the Agreement.
